Having run into several kayakers on Lake Arthur, I questioned them about their higher quality kayaks. Two different people mentioned River's Edge. After visiting their website I set my sites on the Jackson Tupelo, hoping for my favorite color combo of turquoise and purples. After phoning Evelyn, of course she had one in stock and on sale! I drove the hour's drive to Leechburg (totally worth it!) My excitement surged as I pulled into the lot to see my new kayak displayed on their trailer on an angle. She helped me find the perfect paddle by sitting in the kayak and even threw in a bag of tasty kettle corn!😋I ADORE my new Jackson kayak!! 😘😍😎Evellyn showed me all the great features like the removable seat with lumbar pillow and dry bag and slots for future gear. Her hubby also came over and gave my copilot/sailor buddy Odie (my kayaking pooch) some love and congratulated me. I have wanted a kayak like this since I started! Great buying experience from here. I contacted them check on availability of some Hobie Mirage kayak's, and they got right back to me. I went in the shop the next day and took a look at them. The one I really wanted was still in the warehouse so they took me over there, we unwrapped it and I decided to take the next up version home. They were super knowledgeable about not only the kayak's, but even the area and kayaking + fishing. Gave me tons of information and were super helpful. I found my tackle storage that is supposed to come with the Hobie Pro Anglers to be missing and they are already reaching out to Hobie (we saw that when we unwrapped it too, but weren't 100% sure if it was actually...

Awesome day on the river! Owners are friendly and helpful, process for shuttle and drop-off is smooth. The Kiski is beautiful (slow, yes, but lovely). We tubed and swam and played. With several stops for snacks, swimming and birdwatching the tube trip from Vandegrift back to our car was just over 3.5 hours. Lot's of little helpful thoughtful details, for instance, there is a small changing booth for after the river so you don't have to change in the car. They also have sell odds and ends you might have forgotten (and the prices are not unreasonable). Nice selection of kayaks and accessories. It was our first trip with Rivers Edge, but it won't...
