Steer clear of this place!
I purchased a car from them 7 days ago. I live in NY so this dealership was an hour and a half drive. I spoke to someone (not naming names) who assured me we could work on the price AND stated there was a 30 day warranty on the vehicle.
I drove there that same day. When I arrived the person greets me and says they have a customer and someone else would be taking care of me. Okay! Fine! We walk to the garage where the vehicle I was interested in was housed. As we are going over the vehicle I asked the salesman, āis there anything at all wrong with this car? Is there anything I will need to fix asapā? He said, āno! Our dealership thoroughly looks over all vehicles to make sure everything is in working condition and they are safeā. He went on to explain what they do with cars which do not pass their inspection. I asked him one more time in other words āwill I have any issues registering and inspecting this car in NYā. He stated I would not. when we are finalizing the deal, i ask about the warranty. he says, "ā¦ā¦ is mew and he was incorrect. there isnt any warranty. it is sold as is". i should of ran right there bit im thinking "he said everything with the car is fine".
6 DAYS LATER the check engine light comes on. I immediately call the ford/Lincoln dealership in my area and leave a voicemail (this happened after hours). I call Ferrando first thing this morning and leave a voicemail for my salesman.
The dealership in WNY looks over my car and tells me there is a large evac leak (they show me the scanner). This is a $500 fix. They also tell me the shocks need to be replaced as well as two sway bar links. Over $1000 of work. The car will not pass inspection with the engine light on in NYS sp at this moment i paid $8000 for a vehicle i wont be able to drive until it is fixed.
the original person who was supposed to sell the car calls mw back today and long story short, tells me the car is as is and they will not be doing anything about selling me a lemon. i told him this was terrible business. he said "well, it was sold as is" so i am now stuck with a useless car and they are keeping my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe drove an hr and 40 mins to get a van from Bob Ferrando Ford. I spoke to Joe McCafferty about the van prior to coming out. Our #1 concern was needing a van that had working AC. Joe assured me that it worked, due to being pregnant in 90 degree weather as well as having 4 children in the van. We got there, test drove it, checked things out and wanted to buy. AC seemed to work fine... in the front. Air blew out the back and we did not realize it was not blowing COLD air.
There is a sticker on the inside of the hood that says rear a/c unit has been disabled adjust refrigerant charge accordingly from April 5th. My husband confronted Joe about this sticker while checking out the vehicle and Joe said dont worry about that and tried to pick the sticker off with his fingernail.
The next day, it was 90 degrees out and we figured out the rear ac did not work in the rear vents. So we called Joe told him the issue, as he gave us his card after the sale to call about any issues that they would make it right, he said he'd check with a manager and call back in 10-15 mins. We never received a call back. Between my husband and myself we called over a dozen times. I left multiple voicemails for the manager myself and my husband left 2 for Joe. We never received any calls back. We spoke to other workers there about the issue who told us they would tell the manager to give us a call or tell Joe. Never did we receive any calls back. I even did the chat on their website I asked the what our options were for returning the vehicle and told them the issues and they told me a manager would be reaching out.
We purchased on 6/30 and our first call to Joe regarding this issue was on 7/1 when he said he'd call back in 10-15 mins.
So here we are weeks out and haven't gotten any calls back. This has to be the absolute worst customer service we have ever experienced. Even if the excuse was we purchased a vehicle does not have a 'warranty,' we called LESS THAN 24 hours after purchasing regarding this issue. And never got...

I've been bringing my Ford vehicles there for nearly 20 years and have never had anything less than a courteous and professional experience. During my most recent visit John went above and beyond to track down an intermittent power window issue, I was experiencing with my 2022 Bronco. It would seem that 95 out of 100 times my driver's side power window would lose position and have to manually manipulated just to close the door without risk of breaking the window. After finally getting tired of dealing with the extra hassle I scheduled an appointment for the repair. Naturally, Murphy showed up the party and the window began operating flawlessly when I arrived for the repair. Rather than being greeted with, "since it's working as designed, there's nothing we can do" John and his team dug their heels in and were able to figure out the issue and get it corrected. This is just one of my MANY great experiences with John, Arlen, and the entire service team. Can't go wrong with these folks!
I'm incredibly picky in terms of what I want to drive. Something as simple as color or missing cab lights are enough to be a deal breaker for me with a new truck. I've typically search and located my new vehicles online in the tristate area and purchased them only to be serviced at Bob Ferrando. Even though I didn't buy from them they've always treated me like royalty for my service needs. I decided to officially join the Bob Ferrando Ford family and purchase a new vehicle. I'm happy to report that I had a great experience with Keaton and received what I consider a great deal on custom ordering a new 2025 F250. I was able to sit down and spec out exactly what I wanted and was given a great deal on the spot without the typical back and forth that generally takes place with new vehicle negotiations.
