I'd be VERY cautious purchasing anything from here that was not baked fresh in the store. There are some baking and cooking essentials available thay may not be expired and fairly priced. The bulk of items they sell are out-dates, shelf pulls, recalled, "banana box" foods not fit for human consumption, damaged, etc. I have seen recalled pet food for sale here as well. The sliced deli meat & cheese will expire quickly. I've seen open bottles & jars for sale on the shelf. The prices are over, at or near retail. Which should be unlawful. It's certainly poor judgment. They often have home goods for sale, but those, too, are quite overpriced. I suggest they acquire guidance on pricing their expired or damaged products. Amazon & Google aren't necessarily where factual average prices can be found. They are not handicap friendly. There's no electric cart, no accessible restroom, entrance is also not accessible, there are accessible marked parking spots, but they are not wide spots. There is a steep ramp to reach the main shopping area. If you have accessibility issues, I do not recommend visiting. If you are on a strict budget, I'd suggest watching store sale ads for the best prices. You would also be able to return or have a warranty. You could find cheaper groceries at a...
Read moreI REALLY wanted to like this store. I did find quite a few things for good prices, which is the reason I’m leaving 2 stars instead of 1. But all of the staff were either outright rude or were rude in passing. I had one female employee force her way by me in an aisle when there was plenty of room to go around me. The women will stare at you and talk about you to each other in Pennsylvania Dutch. They made small talk with my husband, but would not even look at me when I paid for our groceries and was very short with me. I go out of my way when visiting Amish stores to dress more conservatively and try to be respectful of their ways. I don’t understand the necessity of being openly or passively hostile towards paying customers, “English” or not. There is another Amish salvage store closer to me and they are always friendly and don’t make me feel like I’m not welcome. I don’t think I’ll bring my children and myself back to this store. It’s very...
Read moreI would give this place 5 stars but they charge way too much for things in that store. Some stuff is half retail price as other things are at or over retail price. They were charging $25 for a 32 gb flash drive and you can get it way cheaper at Wal-Mart! When this store was small and just starting out, it was very affordable. Now it's out rageous, that's why I don't go there much anymore. I used to go once a month now I usually go just once ever 6 or 8 months. Some stuff is way out of date, we found some kit kats that was Dec of 2018... eek. Y'all need to check dates before putting stuff on the shelf and y'all need to bring most of your stuff down in price. Y'all used to sell out of items, now y'all are overstocking. That should be a sign that y'all are way too...
