at first was just going to write a negative review for all to see.(they have not even replied to my email, so now I am writing the negative review) Then I thought that might be unfair of me to do as I watched the other parties getting what was paid for. With that being said: Our party was today 2-4, we rarely seen our attendant. I did not even know our pizza was brought to our table, one of our guest told me it was at the end of the table with the cupcakes. I served our guest. Now, this would not have been a big deal, had I not paid for this in our package. Our attendant did come back to show me that we had candles. At this time we are not even worried about it. As I seen her (the same attendant) with another party (the table right across from us) laying the plates out for the kids and taking care of that party. All the trash was left on the table through out the entire party which as I watched other birthday tables, theirs were cleaned off. Not to mention my niece had her party there two weeks ago and her mom made the comment that their attendant was on top of everything for the whole party. She did not have to worry about or take care of any of it. As far as I know we did not offend our attendant in anyway. Everyone was very nice to her, so I am just clueless as to why our party was neglected in the way it was. At this point as we of course posted videos of our birthday girl, people are asking us about where we had it, I do not have good reviews to give them. I am not for sure why we were treated different than the other parties, but I can say, I was really not happy about that. Some of the other parents that were with us stated they would not consider having their childs party at your facility after today. My sister (who stated above was just there 2 weeks ago and had a great experience) stated she would not return either. For $245 I could have bought a trampoline and we could have had the party outside and I could have hosted it and been prepared to host...
Read moreI thought Altitude would be a good place to take my whole family. We have been to Sky Zone several times and this place is right here in my own town so we were pretty excited. Although excited once we started jumping we were very disappointed. First off they didn't have the safety socks in my husband nor my 14 year old sons size, they told them they could jump bare foot which I find highly disgusting and dangerous. Secondly, when we went to play dodge ball, the ref had no control over what was going on, the area for dodge ball is to small, they don't make everyone start back on the wall so you have kids up way to close allowing them to hit other kids in the face from 3 feet away, and they let 20 people play on one side against 6 on the other, keep in mind this is like a 15 foot long area so to have 20 people in the area is just insane especially when there was another side that was available for kids to join, but the 6 kids over there didn't want anyone on there team and the ref just allowed it to be that way, head shots counted as out even of it was intetionally a shot to the head. Third the foam pit was a complete disaster there was no organization, no lines, no taking turns, my kids were in a clear line waiting for a turn and other kids were just jumping right in front pushing them out of the way. Overall for the $80 I paid for 5 people to jump for an hour in an unorganized and poorly run fasicility just very disappointing I would rather take my business 40 minutes to Sky Zone. When talking to the manager all she could offer was a refund on socks and said she would talk to the kids running the dodge ball. I have lots of family and friends in the area and I was so excited to tell them we were going to test it out, sad I have to give them a...
Read moreI took my 6 and 4 year old grandkids to Altitude Saturday from 3-4:30. There were 2 parties in progress. There were 5 employees visible, 1 being the manager. I’d say there were about 35 kids jumping in total. The problem was, only 1 employee was in the jumping area and he was very young and not equipped to enforce safety rules. This same young employee spent the majority of his time bouncing a ball and walking around. I never saw him address a single jumper, even after I asked the front desk for help.
Big kids (middle school and high school) were jumping and then laying in the foam pit areas and would not move for the next jumper until they finally decided to move. Or if the little kids jumped and were trying to get out, the big kids wouldn’t wait and would jump anyway. It was very dangerous.
There is a designated toddler zone, but there weren’t any employees to enforce the boundaries so the big kids kept running through and jumping where the little ones were. It was very dangerous simply because Altitude didn’t schedule and assign their workers appropriately to enforce safety standards.
I’ve taken the kids there multiple times but never had this poor of an experience. I spoke to the manager about it and asked him to come and supervise the foam pit before someone was seriously hurt but he only walked over for 2-3 minutes. He really didn’t seem to be concerned and didn’t send any other employees onto the jump floor to supervise.
If you have younger kids or small size kiddos I don’t recommend it because if Altitude doesn’t enforce the safety rules, which they didn’t, it can be a very dangerous situation.
It was a very pricey, disappointing experience and we...
