Falcon Dunes Golf Course — Local services in Glendale

I reserved a tee time for 06:22 for my husbands birthday and we have been wanting to go golfing, unfortunately we were never informed that you cannot bring children to this course. We know people who bring their kids/babies golfing. We got there on time, and instead of the staff saying “Hello” or “Good Morning” we got cold looks and an immediate “There’s no babies allowed”. Our kid is a little over a year old and well behaved, she’s not loud and obnoxious. This “rule” was never mentioned, can’t even find it on the website. It would have been nice to see some professionalism and courtesy given it’s a military course, instead we were met with rudeness and turned away. No mention of “liability” either but it’s not as if we would let our child roam free on the course. We would like to thank the disrespectful Falcon Dunes staff for the wasted...

Great course. Wanted to do a lot of golfing while on leave and figured I could get some better value for the price at an on-base course and Falcon Dunes didn’t disappoint. A course this quality anywhere else in the valley would easily be over $100 to play (probably more). Greens were a tad firm, tee boxes and rough were probably in the best shape I’ve seen on a course this season, fairways were great, carts rode smooth and I love when carts have the screens that show distance to the pin like these so I’m not half guessing from my watch’s middle of the green distance. Practice areas are decent, not the greatest driving range but it works for warming up before a round. I will definitely play...

THIS GOLF COURSE HAS BEEN REPLACED BY A FEDEX FACILITY. The golf course itself is nicely laid out and has a good driving range. I last played in November of 2019 and the course was in great shape. The greens were a bit hard but putted true. The only negatives were it is a bit pricey for the area and, depending on the day and time it can be very, very noisy - I mean like you can't hear the guy your riding with in the cart loud. F-35's call Luke Air Force Base home. And you get an absolutely great view of them on the runway and taking off. Sounds of Freedom!!! I will play the course again and may bring...
