This place sucks, my appointment was at 6:15am, soon as I arrived at that time, there was a line of about 6 trucks at the gate, I clocked 6:17am on my arrival, I waited in line for about 20mins before I could pull up to the guard shack, gave them my paperwork and they checked me into the facility.
Told me where to park and where the office was, I walked into the office, the guy working said that I was “late”, apparently if you’re not at that exact window at your appointment time then you’re late.
It says on my ELD that you have to arrive at your exact appointment time, no early deliveries, which I did.
The guy went on to tell me “unfortunately we’ll have to work you in, so it probably won’t be until 2-4pm before we can unload you” are you kidding me?!
So my plan was to go to the loves up the road and wait til they could work me in, cause no one wants to sit at a yard all morning, was gonna go grab some breakfast and a shower, check this if you leave then they won’t call you when they have a spot open, you’ll have to take a “chance” and come back around the time they told you.
If I could give a quarter of a star I would, and that would only be for how polite and friendly the...
Read moreInexperienced management and ineptitude runs this distribution center. Harassment WILL happen. If you work as a warehouse associate this will be your experience. No weekends...whatsoever. Shifts are from 7 in the morning to whenever the jobs done. You will not go home on time. You have to earn it.(Exceptions for unions) No same 2 days off. "(You have to earn it It's considered a privilege after 3 to 4 years)." You'll be continually reprimanded for being under "standards" Standards are to move 1 piece of freight every 5 seconds from 50 pound bags of dog food to 7 foot standard pallets of 2 liter soda. No matter what the item. 5 seconds from looking at to placing item is all you have. And if you have 2 to 5 mins under any order it WILL lead to a reprimand. They use phases like "You'll definitely get your exercise." And "this guy use to do your job for less." Gaslighting in other words But also if you don't have 100 percent then you wil be sent to the voice pick room where every Tuesday associates are told to work harder and faster and better. Brian Wolfe is the problem and leaving the company would be...
Read moreI would give 5 stars but checkin was a little crazy.
Good: they have bathrooms and got me loaded quickly for a big dc and on the weekend with being understaffed.
Bad: the side of building is gonna be tuff for a newbie but just get someone sitting up front we would be happy to help you out. When I got in guard told me to sit in a line behind trucks and wait in my truck to be helped. I was in 30 min early and once I seen the line wasn’t moving I ran around facility. It ok though we all need more walking as drivers, I appreciate the opportunity for exercise. Make sure you have your vest on they are very intense about it. Receiving office is facing road you came in on saying ….. well, receiving. Drivers and yard dog told me to go there. Well I said to everyone I am picking up not dropping. Anyway shipping office isn’t marked and is on side of build strait ahead of guard shack. Next to door 31 go in there to check in don’t listen to the guard and sit in your truck in a line that doesn’t move you will be there...
