I came to NC Sound & Security initially to have my wife's cars stereo overhauled and ended up coming back 2 days later to have my 2019 Super Duty stereo worked on. The staff here is absolutely top notch. I think I have spoken to just about everyone who works here and they are all very knowledgeable and very nice. Omar had already done several Super Duty trucks and knew exactly what I was after. I expected it to sound better than factory but with two 8 inch subs wasn't expecting a ton of bass but just good clean music. I was wrong. This thing is beautiful and sounds amazing. These little subs have a ton of bass. As he was finalizing everything on the build the subs hit a weird note (he does a lot of tuning to get the best sound possible) causing the sub to hit the mesh speaker grate. He immediately moved the truck back inside to diagnose the issue. Turns out it is a problem that a few of the under seat box/sub combos have had from the manufacturer. I have not duplicated this problem and have had NO issues with the entire setup but that didn't stop the shop from pursuing a factory warranty claim and they have gotten me a new box and subs. This speaks to the integrity of this shop and its people. They never had to tell me anything and I would probably have never known. But there is a lot of pride in their work and it shows. They stayed in contact with me through the entire process and even apologized for it being a little over their estimated completion time. I stopped by on a Friday Afternoon around 4:30, talked with Omar. I wanted a complete System for my 2015 Nissan Versa, which had no Speakers in the rear doors or Wiring for Speakers. Omar went over several options that I could go with after choosing the items I wanted to go with he fixed an itemized quote for each area of the install, he listed all materials needed for the Stereo installation, the Speaker installation and the Subwoofers installation and priced the total out the door for complete install. I brought my car in the following Monday (May 16, 2022) at 9:00 AM my car was ready around 4:15 PM. Omar went over the installation and explained what functions the Stereo had and how to perform them, he also told me if I had any questions I could call or stop by and he would gladly answer all my questions. The install is awesome very clean and you can tell it was professionally installed and it sounds amazing. Its been about 20 years since I've had a system with subs and I'm loving my new system. I went to this place because my front door speakers was busted but it was still playing when I got there I purchased a new set of speakers and I paid for them to install them which they did but after they installed them I went down the road and the right speaker went out I called the lady said bring it back after talking to hear all my speakers went out. I took my car back to them they looked at it and said nothing was wrong with it that the music went to playing when they got in but they still say they checked everything out to see if it was something that they did.
