Bought a Lincoln Sa200 that Brian had on consignment. Explained to Brian that this was for my 16 year old son and that I didn't know anything about welding machines or welding. He assured me that he had gone through the machine and completed all the needed repairs. Drove 550 miles each way to purchase the welder. Get home with it and find radiator fluid in back of my truck. Pull the hood off of the machine and found a hole in the intake, wires going into the generator without insulation, old worn belt ,busted radiator, etc. Thankfully found a local honest shop to repair all poor work that Brian did. In short Brian is a scam artist that doesn't take pride in his work. Buyer beware. In response to the owner he could have made sure the machine was in good condition before selling it. He did offer to repair it after the fact but considering its 550 miles each way, would take multiple days to fix and with him being either untrustworthy or incompetent its not worth it to me.
