We had gone there to see a waterfall which was fairly small. As my 6 year old granddaughter aptly remarked, "We came all the way here to see this!" It was car week though and we saw a whole lot of Porches, a few Ferraris, one Bugatti, a couple of Lamborghinis and quite a few BMWs buzzing around.

The route was nice and we did enjoy a nice meal in Carmel city en route to Big Sur. Scenic beauty but we couldn't watch the sunset because some 20 minutes before sunset it went and hid behind...

My wife and I chose Big Sur for our 25th anniversary and we were not disappointed. The place is amazing. I would like to say that Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park Vista Point is the most beautiful place I have seen in the US so far, after living here for 24 years. It is just an hour drive from Carmel By the Sea, so definitely worth it if you are in the area or visiting Big Sur. HWY 1 is iconic. Great place for romantic drive or engagement. God's creation is...

Beautiful state park where McWay Falls is located. You can park in the Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park parking lot off CA-1 (left turn if you're going south and right turn if you're going north) for easy and immediate trail access. There is a fee for parking unless you have a state park pass from your campground. Alternatively, you could park on the side of CA-1 and walk to JPBSP to the McWay Falls trailhead. The walk to McWay Falls is not...

My wife and I chose Big Sur for our 25th anniversary and we were not disappointed. The place is amazing. I would like to say that Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park Vista Point is the most beautiful place I have seen in the US so far, after living here for 24 years. It is just an hour drive from Carmel By the Sea, so definitely worth it if you are in the area or visiting Big Sur. HWY 1 is iconic. Great place for romantic drive or engagement. God's creation is breathtaking.
