We came here because Robert is here is insanely priced like 2x what I'd pay in Georgia for the same fruit. Maria Corona was recommended to us by the people at the fruit & spice park and this place was exactly what we wanted! We didn't find custard apple in March but got an assortment of items I am not sure the name of. However, the staff is so pleasant and one guy couldn't tell me what something was called so instead he gave my husband and I a sample. He actually gave us a few samples of their fruit and everything was perfectly ripe! They had quite a few regulars perusing the aisles too and were friendly with them We did get: Guanabana medium sized ~$25 What I think is red ilama $12/lbs We got a few prickly pears, a few yellow/reddish kinda plum I'm not sure the name of, mamey sapote, a few caimitos ~$60 which seemed a decent price to me Most of the employees speak Spanish, and a few speak English. My Spanish is like an elementary kid so I got a few things wrong when talking with some of the employees but they were...

I haven't tried my groceries yet but I got a seeded watermelon which I was shocked to see. I haven't seen one of these since I was a kid. I got fresh eggs. I'm excited to crack them and gobble them up. They are small. The place is swarming with mosquitoes, I don't know how the workers manage through this. I didn't feel a warm customer service experience from the workers, a couple were helpful. It's on the side of the road at a fairly busy street, luckily, it's right next to a stop sign. I saw fat overstuffed chickens just walking around on the side of the building. I wonder if I'm eating their eggs..dozen eggs for $6. I also got...

I had the worst experience buying a mamey here. When I got home it was bruised when I opened it. I took it back thinking they would be respectful of my time and money. Mind you I went out of my way to return it by 35 minutes away from my home. I won’t go back. I would rather buy at Publix or Milan’s Market. You will pay more but their fruits are better. Additionally if you calculate the prices they are not even cheaper. For local farmers they are more than the supermarkets near by. Thank for Maria Corona for showing your true color. Well it was a man who was actually rude. I wasted time and gas. I have no plans...

This produce market located in Homestead close to Highway 27 or chrome whichever you call has a wide selection of produce some stuff you can’t find anywhere else. Also they carry eggs, honey and many other items that you wouldn’t think of they do have coconut if you’re looking for thatthey probably do Coco Frio. If you’re down in the area make this a stop. It is a little pricey, but they do have great papaya.

Love this place! Best veggies, varied selection... fruits haven't regularly seen in other markets. Go here all the time! Great quick stop for last minute picks on the way home. đŸ‘ŒđŸœ
