I was in there a couple weeks ago and the cashier was in lets say a "mood" I guess. She was complaining about a delivery guy having a conversation with another worker and saying she guesses they'll notice she's irritated with them talking when she's not there anymore. Fast forward a couple weeks andy husband goes in to get us some lunch and the shepherds pie was full of grease obviously they never drained the burger and the burger was only partially cooked I had to soak the grease off with paper towel and finish cooking it in the microwave. I don't even think I can finish it because it doesn't taste good at all. Then they charged over 4 dollars for my husband's fish sandwich that was literally 4 fishstix on a bun with tartar sauce made with miracle whip and sweet relish. Read moreThis is a nice little grocery/convenience store. They have a little bit of everything. Little dated, but pretty clean and organized. Front end employees were helpful and very pleasant. Reason for two stars.... the employee working behind deli was making sandwiches with NO gloves on. Gloves are a basic food service requirement. We are in the middle of a global pandemic, HOW?? WHY?? The employee was wearing a mask, although not over her nose. 🤷♂️ I understand that COVID may not be as prevalent in northern Maine. Read moreIt's winter, everyone has disappeared, all the restaurants have closed. It's peaceful, yet desolate. I gave up hope for hot, prepared food. But, there it is! A glimmer of hope! Mc's persists through the cold, lonely winters. Thank you, Mc's. It may look like you only provide me with pizza and the occasional beer, but you really provide me with the sanity required to make it through the winter. Definitely recommend. Two thumbs up.
