Better Built Trailers — Local services in Gove City

I did not have a good experience at Better Built Trailers. Their customer service is terrible!

I needed a Ranchhand grill guard for my family vehicle and asked them to order it in January. They forgot to order it, not once but twice! When it finally arrived in August, they were very unhelpful in scheduling the installation, and even cancelled my first appointment the night before. They finally got it installed, not at my convenience, but they got it done. Finally, they told me that they would turn off the front parking sensors, but they failed to do so.

Overall it was a very frustrating experience. I'm generally a very understanding person, but this was just way too much. I plan to buy many more Ranchhands, but never again from Better...

We found ourselves in need of a trailer to transfer a load from another trailer in the middle of nowhere (a.k.a. Grainfield Kansas). We didn't arrive in Grainfield until late in the afternoon. We were given a fair price for our trailer and a great deal on a heavier duty trailer. Not only did we have a good buying experience, we were BLESSED with help in transferring the load. For two hours, the owner and three of his employees helped us unload and load from one trailer to another. One of those hours was past business hours. The owner paid his employees the overtime to help us finish the process. Who does that??? If I EVER need another trailer, I'd drive the 600 miles back to Grianfield to buy one...

While staying at an RV park in Oakley, KS, I found the leaf spring equalizer on our 5th wheel trailer was broken. I couldn't take the broken part out but Jaron ( I believe that's his name) looked at the photos of the equalizer and sent me away with a pair that should work. They did/do work!
