This will probably be the best and most accurate review anyone could ever give about this course as I was a member here for two years straight. I will tell you about everything from people to green. First the people who run this place are very nice. They are very easy to get along with and a very family-oriented. The pro shop is in excellent condition and has only gotten better over the past couple years. They keep their carts clean as well as the course. Next is the tee boxes, this is a shorter course so the tee boxes are kind of close together no real major advantages. Some of the tea boxes could use some repairing as they are crooked and off balance. But I've seen a lot of courses with crooked and off balance tee boxes. Now the fairways could use a lot of work. While they are great as far as width in my opinion, they have a lot of hills and goalies and divots and just plots of mud right in the middle of them. The grass in some Fairways is okay but in others it's just like you would have in your backyard but mowed very well. This makes it tough to hit pure shots. The greens have always been in a pretty decent shape. I went back a few weeks ago after not playing there in a long time and seen quite a bit of crabgrass in them though. They are very soft and easy to play. Your ball might plug into him if you hit High Enough. To sum it all up this course is decent. It was a great learning course for me for multiple years. And for the price I paid I definitely don't have no real complaints. This course is priced perfectly for what it is. I would definitely recommend giving it a try at least once as it is very aesthetically pleasing and the people are very nice. If you're a newbie to the game of golf then I would definitely inquire about a membership here as it really helped me learn and get to where I am now without breaking my pocket.
Just wanted to add, if they fix their Fairways and tee boxes, this would be one of the best courses around. But then they would be more expensive. So you get what...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe called Monday to set up a tee time for Sunday. We made them aware we would have 5 people playing. They stated it was perfectly fine we would just need two tee times. We made it to hole 5 and a group of people that work here came up and told us we were holding them up and needed to speed up or split up. We had only been playing an hour total with a group in front of us. We said if they would like to they were welcome to play through but that they had us book two tee times because they knew we had 5. She continued with we have 6 people playing (even though we did not) and needed to do one or the other. Mind you they were still playing hole 4 and were not ready. We went ahead and played to the next hole. The pair playing with the lady came up from 5 and we told them again that they booked back to back tee times for us because it was 5 and we were playing as fast as we could. He raised his voice that it doesnāt matter if we had back to back tee times but that you donāt go to a golf course and play 5 people. One of our members stated that he understood he was upset and if he had a problem to please take it up with the club house or to play through. They loudly stated back that they work here so they donāt have to take it up with anyone and we needed to split or quit. From there on of our members went to play ahead as a single to which led us waiting on him so we would not hit him. Once we stated we had to wait for the single in front of us since we had to split up he then told us we did not have to be assholes. Needless to say we quit after 9 and tried to get a refund for the remaining 9, they denied it and basically argued they would offer a rain check but that was all they could offer. We have played here many times and never had this issue.FYI if you are allergic to hornets we do not recommend hole 8, it is full of hornets on the green and they will come out once...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent out today to squeeze nine holes and was charged $22 for nine holes, The gentleman managing the office did not even mention the course is in terrible condition Nor did management have it posted anywhere door, website exc.. I know it canāt be free, but itās a $20course at best right now and that should be the 18hole price⦠the back nine was basically unplayable. The greens are in terrible condition. Many are lost. Hit the ball in fairways was like hitting it in 6 inch rough. You couldnāt find the ball, grass clippings everywhere. I was told the course just endured a flood, but if you donāt let your customers know ahead of time that it is in rough shape thatās like stealing money. Either tell your Your customers that the course is in rough condition or close it down until it dries out and you can do better.. Again $22 for nine holes and it was like playing on a farm field .. I mentioned this to the guy when I completed my adventurous nine holes. he acted as if it didnāt bother him one bit. I told him I was gonna leave a review and he said go ahead. HERE YA GO!!!!!! Honestly, the worst golf course condition wise Iāve...
