Beautiful course for only playing the front nine, more about that in a sec, the fairways and tee boxes are in excellent shape, no holes from sprinklers. The chipping green could use some love and the practice putting green is on the other side of the range, speaking of, the driving range is amazing, they have the balls already set out for you. The greens are perfect, only a little slow but they can’t do anything because of the frequent rain, people could clean up their marks on the green and around from chipping. The club house is descent but it appears as a new club house is being built, the carts are gas but that’s fine, good shape for being stored outside. Bunkers are in horrific condition, bushes and weeds are growing in them! I wouldn’t even hit out them. The only thing that makes me so freaking mad and frustrated is that we were forced to stop playing due to heavy rain and lightning, and they wouldn’t give us a freaking rain check, we sat in the car for 45 minutes waiting for the weather to clear up but it didn’t, they need to offer rain checks if there is lightning delay for 1+ hours. The price is awful, an adult and a junior is $95, for the front nine with no rain check, garbage, I wouldn’t even pay $95 for 18 holes, awful. Granby Ranch Golf Course, you need to fix your stuff.

I first want to give a shout out to Austin and grounds crew for how beautiful the course looks this season. Thank you for all of your hard work. My husband has played and I have walked the course since 2018 and it has never looked so good! Having said that, last week after asking if it was okay and then talking to the ranger on the 1st tee I began walking and my husband rode as a single. We were then paired with 3 others. Our cart was confiscated on the 5th hole and I was escorted back to my car. NO SINGLE RIDERS is the policy. Saw multiple single riders on my way home. No shortage of carts(which is the reason for the rule)as the weather was terrible and it was 4:30. I have been respectful and kind and financially supported the course and employees and have a great respect for the people that make the course look so good. Not so much with the new employees in the pro shop. I obviously will no longer be walking the course which is really disappointing. As for the drunk, disrespectful bachelor parties that slow the pace of play and trash the course, have at it. The rules dont...

Five and 1/2 hour round of golf. Totally unacceptable. I'm not sure what happened but the whole golf course was full with people waiting on every tee box. On the back 9 many tees had 2 groups. It felt like the course was overbooked, my suggestion to management is to allow more time between tee times to improve the overall experience. You might be able to squeeze in a group or two more per hour but a five and 1/2 hour round is a miserable experience.

So this started as a 1 star review and I've upgraded a to 5 star review. Granby Ranch Golf Course is in wonderful shape with fantastic greens for a mountain course. Management was already aware of the issue and they've addressed it. I'm looking forward to going back to play Granby Ranch on our next visit to Grand County.
