Dollar General — Local services in Grand Haven Charter Township

The employees are constantly talking back and forth about their personal lives while are assisting you at the cash register. The one male manager(?) had ranted loudly about his dating life and about how the man he is seeing is a 'pos' while also cursing at least twice when I've been in there. This is all in the presence of my 5 year old child. They have also maintained a conversation with one at the register and one by the shelves by screeching back and forth over my head while I was checking out. Rude...

This DG keeps it clean. The workers have been consistently friendly and quick with service. Always a smile.

Alot has changed since the above review. The new management is a mess, the store is cluttered and congested, the workers have difficulty putting together an order for 3 types of water, then they gave my order to someone else before I could pick it up. I’ve had some ok experiences in this location. Lots of visits ended with me walking out know all of a male managers personal business/gossip. Tonight though I met the manager Rochelle and an associate Jamie who were amazing. Very helpful. Rochelle explained the deals to me and seemed eager to sell all while working hard with stock.
