A month ago I bought a windmill from here. It's is pretty and made from the "vinyl wood". I have seen these at other stores around the state. I like the size and colors so I paid the $500. After getting it home and set up I noticed that the blades don't spin in the wind. I tested by spinning myself, not over tightened and spins freely. I called the store and talked to the gentleman they referred me too, he suggested oiling it so I did. I believe the design is just poor, I should've found is style with a tail piece that turns the blade mount so the blades catch the wind. Needless to say he did not offer for me to return it. So if you're reading this and looking for a windmill find another style, this is a $500 waste of money.

🍓 The strawberries were expensive, $7.28 for one small container. Also, they weren't sweet. I'd rate them at 2 out of 5 stars as well. I expected alot better. FYI, your competition in the area sells sweet and delicious strawberries for cheaper, (5$) they sell them in the cute wooden box - AND they let you keep the box, instead of YOUR method of switching the strawberries into a plastic bag after purchasing. (The moisture buildup in the bag forced me to transfer them into yet another container at home) Get it together. Disappointing stop for sure.

I took my girls here to get some pumpkins for halloween. I have not been there since 2015 since I had moved to the south side of town. I remembered they had a really good selection of pumpkins before so I took them there and forgot they had a little market inside as well! It smelled delicious and they had a wide variety of baked goods, produce and so many other things. The cashier was so sweet and made my girls laugh. I will definitely be back to try the baked goods!

I have been stopping at this location for decades. Today was not a great experience. Their vegetable and fruit choices are good. Everything looks fresh. I found many items to purchase besides fruit and vegetables. I bought a couple of jars of jam, peach and raspberry. I bought a couple of containers of candies, malted milk balls and swedish fish (which were very fresh, soft and flavorful). It was during the checkout process that I became concerned. I asked for a doughnut and a muffin, which were not in the bags the clerk gave me. I also requested the receipt and she tore off only the bottom noting it was a credit card purchase and the total. I then requested the item purchase receipt and she tore off another partial receipt. Every item, except the two jars were in one bag, except for the missing bakery items which I did not notice until I got home. The bag contained at least ten +pounds of produce. I asked for another bag and she opened one and then I had to fit them together. I hope she was a new employee and the owners note she needs more customer service instruction. I won't be back again this summer. I will go elsewhere and check...

I was in the area for work and stopped in to check out their hanging baskets. ALL of them were absolutely beautiful - - - nicer, bigger & better selection than anywhere else I've seen (even the huge places). I needed shade and not full sun and elsewhere only had smaller baskets with one, maybe two types/colors of flowers. Green Acres had an amazing variety with HUGE flowing baskets made up of several types and colors of flowers for that "full sun" colorful look but "shade" suitable flowers. Not having a very green thumb, Mark (owner?) was sooo helpful with taking the time to understand my landscape and then explain what he thought would work best to last & bloom all season. I live in Rockford and while I stopped here by chance this time around, I will absolutely make the trip next year as I haven't seen nicer baskets anywhere. For what you get, their prices are comparable if not better than all other...

I'm obsessed with Green Acres Farm Market! Their blueberries and Michigan cherries are always fresh and delicious. The baked goods are amazing - I highly recommend trying their blueberry donuts and fry pies. But what really sets them apart is the exceptional customer service. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. They're happy to answer questions, offer recommendations, and even help you find specific products. I've had a few questions about gardening and they've provided expert advice. They also have a great selection of frozen meats, beautiful plants, and unique garden ornaments. I've found everything I need for my garden and kitchen in one place. The staff's enthusiasm and dedication to the community are truly appreciated. Don't miss out on visiting this charming market! Highly...
