Want Amish Country brands without making the 3 hour one-way trip? It's right here! Walnut Creek brands, Isaly's Chopped Ham, Isaly's Barbecue Sauce in a jar, baked goods, lottery, thr best chicken salad around and good ham salad however, I add Miracle Whip (I don't like the taste of mayonnaise) and I add Kroger Sweet Pickle Relish and then mmmm--goodness! You can also get Uncle Mike's Beefsticks, beer, wine, etc., and Lottery tickets there.
They also sell pizza, subs and salads (call ahead and order), and also have take and bake pizza available.
You can get ice cream, homemade pies, Ballreich Chips and propane tanks for your grills.
Take Rt. 23 unless you have 6 hours to wait on a train parked across Linn-Hipsher. I'm not figuratively speaking, it literally is parked on average, 6 hours daily so again, if coming from South, take Rt. 23 and make a right at Linn Hipsher (its as soon as you turn off Rt. 23) to avoid the train.
The people behind the counter are hard working yet still manage to stay friendly even while serving ungrateful customers. The owner doesn't hide and I love establishments where the owner digs in and works as well.

Read moreI've seen their ads in the local coupon saver but until now never went but I regret waiting so long!! Fair warning, the GPS will route you very oddly- having you turn left when you're almost there instead of right so check out the route ahead of time. The front door is to the left of the driveway and can seem a bit hidden but you'll find it. The pizza was delicious and a good price. I got a medium specialty BLT pizza for like $14! The cheese and lunch meat prices are absolutely fantastic! I got tavern ham and fried chicken lunch meat and it was honestly the best tasting I've ever had. Both were around $5.00/ lb.! The same at Krogers Board Head brand would have been twice that. They also have a huge selection of smoked cheese. I got a pound each of smoke cheddar and smoked muenster for $5.00/lb. Very high quality for very reasonable prices. They also have a bunch of quality and hard to find condiments. Last, if you order ahead you save 10% so if you go once a week or longer it would pay to do that, plus it helps the employees plan ahead. My highest...
Read moreYou need to come here!! Been frequenting this place for almost 3 years. They have a large and unique selection of Amish meats and cheeses, anywhere from your normal classic mozzarella and ham, to vintage habanero Munster and Cajun turkey cut any way you want. Their beer and wine selection is also unique and fairly priced, I love coming here for new seltzer blends and wines that taste like grape juice. Not to mention they have homemade and local made desserts, from pies to cookies, and artisan ice cream. They've got you covered on condiments, sides, snacks, it's like an Amish convenience store!! Plus a freezer full of different types of brats and seafood for your next cookout. Feeling frisky they also have lottery tickets!! If you live close they offer delivery Friday through Sunday, you can order their housemade pizzas and subs dressed in Amish cheese (YOU CAN ALSO ORDER FROM THE DELI AND GET DELIVERY!!!) I'm probably forgetting something. Point is, get your arse over here if you haven't tried it yet!! You won't...
