How such a high Google rating? I really wish I had read the reviews on this place before getting involved with them.
Updated to note lies in reply. Will provide screenshots of our texts next. There were no errors in my docs creating the problem it was the tax error they made.
I went with this place because it was the first that popped up with the ability to ship a motorcycle + a really gorgeous custom painted bike caught my attention. However, it's very clear they have zero desire to work. My purchase began on May 14 with the first inquiry from me to the dealer.
There was poor communication right out of the gate. First, told me the bike I was looking at was too much bike for me. Ok, I'll accept that, I'm a new rider, no argument. However, Don the sales rep then pushed a bike that I wasn't really impressed by. I made a list for him & he said the next step was to get approved for financing. I let him know I really didn't need financing, but he told me that they don't really make money on cash deals. Again no argument & agreed to the terms. But, he had ran my credit on a bike I didn't even want.
It wasn't until I spoke with Marshall who stopped everything and asked what bikes I was looking at. I ended up picking one that I was at least more interested in & he put me back in the hands of Don. When Don called to discuss the new option, he said it's a good bike and it's certified so it comes with all kinds of "good stuff." Then as he meant to be reading off what good stuff it came with, he ended up sidetracked in a discussion with himself about what of the good stuff would actually pertain to me-- seeing as how I live in Georgia. So I have no idea (a month later) what this certified bike actually came with other than a headache, a wrinkled receipt & one key--which was never mentioned during the sale as being only one key and no owner's manual.
Now that I picked the bike and financing was doing its thing came the discussion of shipping. They had a number before a date--$750 to ship this motorcycle from Texas to Georgia. Whole vehicles get transported across the country from sea to shining sea for less than that but again, I said please just take my money and send a bike. The shipping they said could be bundled into the financing but someone forgot to add it. Twice. After receiving my down payment plus shipping charges, I had to wait to find out when it would arrive and then they have me a 7 to 10 day window. I checked their site again--yes it referred to a speedy process but there's been nothing speedy about this.
I had to threaten to cancel the sale three times throughout the sale to get any communication out of them all the while Don telling me that it was because of limited staff not doing their job. It took 10 days just to buy the bike the first time. The date I was given for arrival was changed to 7 days--Wednesday by 2p. It actually showed up at 9:15p in the middle of a thunderstorm the Sunday before memorial Day.
Fast forward--i still haven't received final docs from the loan company. So I don't even know if this bike is legally mine and the dealership keeps requesting new docs including insurance for the bike. I proceed to get the insurance which needs proof of registration. I reach out to find out if this has been started and Don either doesn't know or can't tell me. So I go to department of driver services because now I'm in a weird situation where the insurance company wants a thing from the finance company but the finance company won't sign off because they don't have the proof of insurance. I had to contact the general manager Jordan to learn that they already began registering my bike.
Then thinking everything was finally settled & done, I get a new application to fill out and sign because someone messed up the charges on the original loan doc. I have zero obligation to sign this new contract & have received 0 communication from the dealership on taking their bike back and getting my money back. first time buying exp. that they completely jacked & refused to own or...
Read moreDear Mr. Beltran Del Rio,
I’m writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received at Used Bikes Direct regarding my Yamaha Raider 1900.
I initially brought my motorcycle in for a possible tire replacement and a new battery. At the time, my audio system was functioning perfectly. What followed was a frustrating and disappointing experience that spanned over five weeks, far beyond the promised completion date of July 13, 2025.
Throughout this period:
I received no proactive updates or phone calls regarding the status of my bike.
I had to make repeated in-person visits to the shop, only to be met with vague explanations and shifting diagnoses.
I was told the tire didn’t need replacement and was simply aired up—fine. Then I was informed of a leak in the rear rocker, requiring a gasket replacement. I agreed to the repair.
Later, I was told the bike wouldn’t stay idled and that both cylinders needed inspection. The rear was checked, but the technician broke his tool while attempting to inspect the front cylinder.
Despite my follow-ups, I received no clear timeline or resolution until I sent a formal email on July 29, 2025.
Your response on August 6, 2025, stated the bike was ready for pickup with only a battery replacement and diagnostic labor charged—no gasket repair completed, and to my dismay, my audio system was no longer functioning at all.
I picked up my motorcycle on August 9, 2025, and left feeling extremely disappointed. The lack of communication, incomplete repairs, and new issues introduced during the time my bike was in your care are unacceptable. I entrusted your shop with my vehicle and received subpar service and little regard for customer satisfaction.
I am requesting a formal review of this experience and a response that addresses:
Why the gasket repair was not completed
What happened to my audio system while in your possession
Why communication was so poor throughout the process
At this point, I cannot in good conscience recommend your shop to others. I hope you take this feedback seriously and make efforts to improve your service...
Read moreMy name is Christopher Williams, and I’m writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received at your shop regarding my 2005 Honda Shadow.
I brought my bike in for service and was told it would be ready by the second week of August 2025. Four weeks passed, and I was presented with a service estimate totaling $1,767, which included:
Tank cleaning and resealing
Carburetor rebuild
Fluid changes
Rear blinker replacement
Front and rear tires
Accelerator issue
Battery replacement
Despite this extensive list, my bike remained untouched. I made several calls that went straight to voicemail and received no return communication. I had to make multiple trips in person just to get basic updates—none of which were satisfactory. When I finally picked up my bike on August 6, it was in the exact same condition as when I dropped it off.
To make matters worse, I was charged $235.38 for a diagnostic test, which is baffling considering the bike had no fuel and the battery was never replaced. How was any diagnostic testing performed under those conditions?
Adding insult to injury, I was offered $300 for my bike—just $64.62 more than what I paid to retrieve it. This experience has been a complete waste of time, money, and trust. I would never recommend this shop to anyone, and I sincerely hope that Abel Beltran Deltran Del Rio and other potential customers take my experience as a cautionary tale.
I expect a formal response and explanation regarding this unacceptable treatment. At the very least, I believe a refund for the diagnostic charge is warranted.
Sincerely,...
