Petrich's Store — Local services in Grand Rapids

This is our go to store when we forgot something when we were grocery shopping in town. We have a cabin near this store and frequent it every trip up. They stock Kettle River pizza's which are a must get every time we are there.

In addition to the pizzas, they have your basic staples you would need, candy and snacks, and even some local clothing to keep you warm on winter nights.

They sell bait and fishing license. They know the good spots to get the fish you are looking for and keep up with local hunting regulations as well.

The family who owns and runs it are super friendly and know just about everyone nearby. (In fact, they knew who we were before we knew who they were due to having a relative in the area.) Once they know your name, they will greet you by it every time...

This store is so first-rate service and fantastic customer service..it literally just blows my mind that store was so good to me and my friend since we got there 5 minutes before closing..it's very rare to find that kindness, patience now...

I never actually even made it inside this business but was meeting someone at this location and the employee managed to come outside at some point and he engaged conversation with my boyfriend. He was very nice and funny making us feel...
