R7 Reclaimed — Local services in Grandview

Their Christmas open house (Nov 11) caters to a certain market, and for some is a nice day out with a friend or grownup family. We found the use of the unheated barn clever, the displays inspiring, but right down to it much of the product was imported floral parts and decor, a few local packaged food gifts, and visually appealing clothing items (imported) that break down after just a couple careful washings. I could not find the reclaimed stuff, unless they mean the barn. Ok. It was a nice drive from Iowa City. I absolutely LOVE r7 Reclaimed! They are my top go to for home decor and custom made furniture! Tenneill and Jesse were top notch when it came to listening to my ideas and expectations when designing and creating my family dining room table. I love that it’s solid wood that was hand crafted and it turned out stunning! R7 is an absolute must of a road trip. I’ve bought an old window frame for a table, chicken feeders for my table runner decoration, an old oil can for flowers, all of my outside flower pails are from R7. I love that this venue has an abundance of vintage mixed with some newer items. The owners are so fabulous! We went out several years ago and it was sleeting on the way, my elderly mother was with us and the guys were going to carry her into the barn. Where else do you get that kind of personal treatment?
