Knollwood Country Club is an amazing event space and experience. It is unbelievable how easy it is to plan an event here. Aside from your own personal decor touches, every detail from set up to tear down is taken care of. The staff is so on top of the menu, food, clearing of plates, and the having a bar option was fantastic. Every single guest complimented us on the party. I could not believe how much more work and money I would have committed to if I had tried to do this myself or have an event at home. lost an expensive toiletries bag filled with MY ITEMS (not any workers nor did I give anyone consent to look through my stuff) ZIPPED UP, workers felt free to go through my bag without my permission then throw it away instead of placing it in lost an found like you’d think someone would do when you lost something at their course. You overpay for what the course is unless you’re a member and play everyday or every other day. Got robbed for 9 holes then got literally robbed of my bag by the workers. This is the worst place to eat in the area. While the food is between good and okay, the service is deplorable. Water glasses set unfilled, tables go un-cleaned, and the food service is so very, very slow. The staff also has a hard time figuring out how to reserve tables (because food times are so slow) so they often have the best tables sitting empty for an hour while awaiting a later reservation. I would only eat here if you have to. However, the ambiance is good -- and the drinks fine and the outdoor patio is a nice place to sit. Just be warned that if you go here you're in for a long thirst...
