STAY AWAY!!! BEWARE of extremely rude service!
I ordered Bassett furniture from Coffey Furniture in March 2016 with the expectation that the furniture would arrive within "6 weeks max". I called the 5th week and was told the some of the furniture would be shipped the next day, but they would need to call me back to let me know when the rest should arrive. After not receiving a call back, I called them to get the status. The lady on the phone was nice, but she said I needed to speak to Deann, while I heard someone (that I later determined was Deann) in the background asking "what does he want" and "tell him we will call him back" in a very rude tone. I took it for what it was and did not say anything about her comments. I get a call from a third person that informed me that the order would be 4 more weeks. That was 3 weeks later than the originally promised "6 weeks max", so I asked for a manager and she said to call Deann at the other location. I called the other location and was told Deann would call me back.
THIS IS WHERE THE EXTREME INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR BEGAN.......
Deann calls we back at 4:55PM (they close at 5:00) and starts with "What do you want?" "Didn't the other store call you back to give you an update?" I stated that they had, but I still had several questions. Deann said that she gave the other store all of my info and that "it is 5:00 and we are getting ready to go home", in an extremely rude tone. I tell her that I am the customer and she isn't going to speak to me with that tone. I also say that, if that is how she wants to handle my business I will just cancel my order. She said she "would do me one better and cancel it for me." I said great please process my credit back to my card immediately, to which she responded "I am going home and will process it tomorrow" and hung up on me. I immediately called back and was sent to voicemail.
I don't see how any company can staying business with this attitude!!! Check the reviews on here and other sites and you will see I am not the only one that has received this type...
Read moreI purchased a table and chairs from Coffey Furniture in November of 2021. During thanksgiving dinner, we noticed the top of the table was wobbling and after inspecting the table, I noticed that the base of the table was cracked right in half. The Monday after thanksgiving I began calling our sales rep, Jan Nash, who assured me she would look into it and take care of this for me. I was not hearing back so I would call on her cell - I called multiple times in the following months, only to be told " I will get back to you" When I finally called the actual store in March, I spoke to the owner who was arguing with me over the fact that they did not have record of my multiple calls because they keep record of everything. I explained that I was calling Jan on her cell phone. The owner then assured me that she would get me a new base for my table but it wouldn't be delivered until May 2022 - I told her fine, not problem.
The table base never came and no further follow up was made. When I called back in June I left a message and their return message was that they would look for a table base for me. It is now April 2023 and I have not received any follow up.
There is zero customer service and they treated me like I did something wrong and that I was being an annoyance. Customer service was good up until the time there was a problem and they just WILL NOT deal with you.

Read moreIn general, the variety of furniture offered here is exceptional and the staff are, for the most part, helpful. We were told delivery would take 7-10 days when we purchased a bed on Dec. 28th. After being rescheduled SEVERAL times, we decided to rent a Uhual trailer and pick it up ourselves. When we got to the warehouse, the headboard was on one side and the footboard was clear on the other; which took them 20 minutes to find, even though I called and said the date and time I'd be there to pick up my things. The rails were in a total different place in the warehouse and took another 20 minutes to find. The elderly gentleman, I assume to be the proprietor, told me "the slats don't typically come with the bed, but I'll throw these in for you. (Insert unwelcome wink like he was doing me the favor. What's the point of a bed without the support slats?!) If they're too long, you can just saw them down." Frustrated with their excessive disorganization, we left with the slats that did end up being two inches taller than what they should have been to go with the bed.
