Where do I begin. Placed the order for a chassis march 2022. Just received the order. That’s right 2 1/2 years later. For those of you about to read this huge review if that’s not enough to make you read on by all means place your order. Was originally quoted a possible lead time of 4-6 months. No big deal we’re patient people. After the six month time we started making phone calls. At first it was due to Covid they couldn’t find employees “ two years after the outbreak”. The guy who answers the phones doesn’t have a clue what’s going on past his desk. It’s next in line. It’s waiting on the jig. That’s what we heard the next six months. Then the next six months it’s complete it waiting on powder coat. Six months later it’s all ready just waiting on the brakes. It took 6 months for the brakes to get in. Oh wait we’re waiting on the bags now. They never have any good info for you. Just always excuses. The last 4 months me and my dad finally started getting vulgar. We were extremely patient customers for so long at this point over two years later we were just frustrated. Can’t get in touch with the owner and it’s just once excuse after the other. So after 2 1/2 years and lots of cuss words later it’s finally complete. Only they never ordered the gas tank so they just made up a lie that they talked to someone and they agreed to take it off the build. Only me and my dad never told them about that. Their poorly managed, their overbooked and make poor timing choices. They will rebuke this review saying things like we never guarantee time lines. Nope but giving a lead time of 4-6 months and it taking 30 months is so far from reality. They will say they can’t find workers and blame it on covid. They ordered my bags six months ago and gave my parts to another build. They will say they cant control shippers. But if they ordered parts at the right time that wouldn’t b a problem. (I checked their part numbers and could’ve had my parts there in 3 days) At the end of the day the chassis is beautiful (it cost $23k it should) if you don’t mind waiting forever and being told blatant lies and BS than maybe this builder is for you. I’d spend the extra couple grand and go with a more reputable builder like ArtM. If you go with them you’d better be years away from needing your chassis and if they say the lead time is anything less than 2 years there’s your first lie. If I could give them negative stars I would. Hopefully my 64 year old dad gets to enjoy this truck that should be done right now but we’re just getting started. Oh and their customer service is garbage. After two and a half years instead of taking care of my order I just get the whole “ you can come pick up the chassis as is and put it together yourself” I can go on and on and on but I’ll leave it at the. Best of luck to anyone who uses them for their chassis. There are better companies out there that produce a quality chassis that I can guarantee will take better care of you.

Reply to his review. I still have copies of the original invoice. We never added anything to the build other than what was on the first day we started talking. Except for the gas tank they removed because they never ordered it in a timely manner without our consent. There is no special code to jump the line. Well he gave our parts to another build. And didn’t even know it. “Paperwork states the parts were ordered and delivered months ago. Let me find them. Oh we used them for another build. “ Never said chassis wasn’t beautiful. If you have 2+ years to wait and don’t mind being lied to like you’re an idiot then go with them. Plenty of builders out there gonna give you the same quality probably half the time and on par with the same price. His response to my review is a new customers first lie. Oh and hell yeah I used profanity after he gave away my parts, took parts off the build in a blatant lie, and took 5 times longer than his uncle Randy that runs the desk told me it would take. I purchased a chassis for over $28,000 on 3/25/16 complete with brakes, brake line package ,Ridetech shockwaves, fuel tank with line's. I finally picked up the chassis 09/06/16 as they refused to ship it to me in CA. The chassis is missing the brake package some of the fuel line package, some of the brake line package and the Ridetech shockwaves with pro ride controller. Chris Sutton the owner of Street Rod Garage sent me a email dated 08/05/16 @ 5:47pm "I think the best thing for us to do from this point is for you to come get the chassis as it is and I will refund the parts that are not there at the time of pickup (they may or may not all be there) and you can order them yourself. ". As of today 09/13/16 he refuse's to send me the missing parts to complete my chassis and or give me a refund. If you are thinking or using Street Rod Garage for your future project this is what you have to look forward to. I'm out over $10,000 in parts that I now have to purchase from another company to finish my chassis and then spend lot's of time and money to try and collect my refund from Street Rod Garage.
