They had my other half in tears. This is the third time we have called or came from Hugo and treated like garbage by the “GM” named Charles. The guys in the yard, Chris, David and others are awesome! When my GF asked for Jason (owner who she knew from 40 years ago), they refused to transfer and hung up on her. She called back and they just picked up and hung up. “GM” Charles gave us 2 minutes to leave or he was calling “police” (Deputies 🤦‍♂️). Fields is not worth the drive and the total lack of respect by the “GM”!!!!!!!!!!

• After the owner bashed me for my 5 reviews of other locations (1 saying Dr. Ziegler is the BEST). I want LEFTY (son of owner) to know the rude behavior came from your staff, telling my GF she shouldn’t have used the restroom first (did you expect her to pee outside?). To your GM refusing over many conversations over a month to allow us to pay before driving the hour from Hugo (because the counter staff will sell an order out from under you). ** AGAIN the guys in the yard are great and I wish them luck in dealing with an “Owner” (got it from “Daddy”), that thinks hanging up on us is ok (without us saying anything). //Update 01/2024 I've lowered my review from 5 stars to 3, because since I wrote the original review I have had issues there when buying lumber. Specifically, they would not allow me to pick out the pieces I wanted. Instead, I was expected to take whatever they gave me, whether it was full of knots or twisted. I no long buy my lumber there, and can't recommend them for that. I occasionally still buy hardware items there, but I get lumber from Home Depot these days, where you can still pick out the straight pieces that aren't full of imperfections.

I called as soon as they opened. Spoke to a friendly person that transferred me to a friendlier person. This person knew exactly what I wanted. I said put my name on it I’ll be there at 5 PM. I show up wandered in the wrong direction, nice people told me to go next door. I cruised right in with my shopping cart and went straight to the back. Everyone was very friendly and didn’t seem to notice I had my Frenchie in the cart. I looked around found what I drove 3 hours for and to my surprise my name was on it. A young associate came up and was very helpful, he found the three or four other items that I needed with in seconds. My French Bulldog feeling left out demanded a little attention from the team. They brought him some water and treated him extremely well. Everyone was excellent. The store is excellent. Prices were excellent. Special thanks to this store for having everything I needed....
