I’m surprised by people suggesting that the staff is unfriendly. I’ve had such wonderful experiences there. One time I called from the freeway stuck in traffic and told them, “I’m having a dinner party. Can you stay open a few extra minutes for me?”They not only waited for me, but pulled together all the items I needed to make a delicious dinner! What service! Produce is overpriced and the meat is more expensive than you might guess...until you take it to the register and you realize that the posted price is per FROZEN pound. Some posted prices are not clear as to per package or per pound...but if you don't care how much you pay, and you don't mind close to rude service at the register, it's a cute place that carries unusual items...
