KJ's Fresh Market — Local services in Grantsburg

Extremely overpriced expiring items. I live a block away from this store and only stop here if I absolutely have to to get a bare minimum of items. It’s a regular occurrence to see things 50-100% more than they are at ALDIs or Walmart. I will gladly pay more to support local businesses and for convenience, but this is totally out of control and ridiculous. Just to give you an example, I stopped in today to grab a bag of spinach. It expires tomorrow and is literally more than double what Aldi‘s charges. 128% more for expiring food. I inspected the bag and the spinach leaves were starting to rot. If you are coming through Pine City or Highway 70 I would highly recommend going to Aldi‘s or Walmart or anywhere...

We stopped on our way through Grantsburg on Saturday afternoon. The tall cashier boy had a hard time breaking away from his little girlie to check to check us out with our groceries.
