I have been stopping at Moss Glen falls, just north of Granville, VT for many years now. I discovered it's exsistance on a motorcycle trip a while back. To me it's a special place . I have made trips just to visit the falls. How can you not like a beautiful falls, that's free to enter. it has parking right off Rt100. And it's steps to the falls. You can see it from the road as well. I can spend a good amount of time just enjoying the falls. I need to point out there is also another Moss Glen Falls up in Stowe, VT. Only three stars because the walking bridge to get to the viewing platform has been closed for some time, limiting access for group or candid photos of the waterfall. Travel to the falls now using a very small footpath on the road side that does not allow passing in each direction, therefore you have to count on people walking back from the falls to step out of the way against a guardrail to allow passage. Simple and beautiful (This isn't a touristy spot. Dont expect gift shops, or tshirts, etc) Only about 6 parking spots and no bathrooms. You CAN see the falls from the road while driving past.
