As a long time Festival participant and volunteer off and on I have a great suggestion Main stage Put hay down in the center wet it a few times a day It is a serious buzz kill to not be able to dance near the musicians for them and for dancers we feed off each other Let all chairs be fanned out on both sides and allow the people who want to dance to be in the center And the people in chairs can sit and enjoy too Figure out a new way! I look forward to this weekend every year! I love coming every year and meeting all the new people, visiting each unique booth, listening to some of the most amazing artists, dancing like tomorrow isn't coming, and eating as many meat pies as I can! This year was a bummer. The festival moved to the first weekend in may. Saturday was a total wash out. Torrential rain all day made it too wet to stay. We came back for Sunday and are glad we did. My suggestion is the 3rd weekend in May rather than the 1st. We have a great time every year. The only complaint I have is that prices have been climbing and the lineup hasn't been getting better to...
