I recently went to Mini Earth for the first time, based on recommendations from friends. Wow! The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and in good health. There was a small variety of veggies, which I had specifically gone there for, but it is late in the season, so I was glad to find what I did...especially the monster basil I purchased and turned into about 15 more plants!

Everything I purchased was well watered with a healthy root system, and has acclimated into my garden well. The prices were also very reasonable and many were less than I saw at the big box stores...and I prefer to support local businesses, so that made it even easier to do.

The girl who checked me out was more than pleasant and helpful. It was a good experience overall and I plan to go there first, next year....

Stopped by mid-afternoon today (Thursday) They didn’t seem too busy. At least they had time to talk to one another in the back room. Asked if someone could help me pick some plants for a small area near my front door. I used the word ‘design’ because I don’t know plants well enough. I had an idea of what I wanted and didn’t want, as well as pictures of the space. Lady said nope. I asked again, someone can’t help me pick some plants out at all? Nope. Told her, ok, I’ll spend my money somewhere else. Went to a nearby competitor a few miles away. They had a busy parking lot. Once they finished with a customer, one of the ladies spent the time to help me, and $375 later, I have a nice selection of plants with color, depth, and will work well...

TERRIBLE establishment. We purchased $70 worth of flowers from here April 26, 2015 and they ALL died within 3 weeks. We attempted to work with the business but they were extremely hostile and refused to reach some sort of compromise with us. We will never return, and advise that nobody else go here either.

My in-laws purchased $120 worth of plant from Min Earth Greenhouses as well, and a majority of those died within the same period of time. One of the staff (Tony?) agreed to replace 5 plants that died. Upon returning to pick up the new plants the woman working was complaining the entire time about how they should never have agreed to replace the plants, etc.

Just stay away, you'll be...

I've been looking for a good local nursery and I think I've found my place! I've been driving closer to the city to find items as Home Depot has poor quality plants and herbs. I've been driving past this and I've never stopped because it was hard to know what they had from the main road. I stopped in yesterday and I was very pleased with the selection and quality. It's a little higher than the big stores, but the quality is better and you're supporting a local shop. I'll be back.

I had no idea this place existed. The staff was super friendly. The cashier that attended us was very knowledgeable about plants. Although we came in the fall they had limited supplies and plants. That's to be expected, being that we visited in late October. They had a beautiful selection of squash and pumpkins. Some verities I've never seen before. I purchased some of their left over tomatoes and garlic. I definitely plan to go back again.

This is now my favorite place for plants! It's like a little wonderland of beauty. All the plants are healthy and happy ready for their new homes. I honestly couldn't get enough of this place. I have to go back soon because I didn't even see everything. Don't waste your time or money buying annuals or perennials at the big box stores. Mini Earth is local and high quality. Everything I purchased is thriving. Go!
