Dollar General — Local services in Graysville

Asked for restroom when I came into shop. Was told “customers can’t use bathroom “ I calmly replied , sir if your doors are open to the public you have to have a restroom ( I know it’s a law in many states )he said sorry man it’s the manager . I said sir I’m a disabled diabetic I Know it’s a law to provide disabled folks with a bathroom. Again I was told it’s the Manager . Again I repeated myself and added its federal law , your management may want to let me use it , “she’s not here “ You may want to get her on the phone , Companies get sued for a lot less Never called her@dollargeneral #dollargeneral I suggest getting your stores policies right before someone comes in and sues the heck out of you. Embarrassed I had to go around back behind a dumpster and some trees. Could only imagine if i went down out there to be found like I’m treated like homeless person . Store was poorly stocked , Filthy ,only store in entire plaza not abandoned, and I was the only white person around and I felt singled out and that’s unacceptable. Serious question. When an employee is hired here- do they ask you if you’re going to be the least unprofessional employee ever and hire you when you say yes? Each and every employee this location has had- and they have had many- has been the most disrespectful and unhelpful person ever. The store is never stocked, there is always things all over the floor, the fridges are always out of service, but when you walk in you’re guaranteed to see an employee on their phone. It's a cheap and convenient place to grab some TP, paper plates, towels, otc cold meds, shampoo, etc. Whatever. Daily living home needs discount shop. Service varies, ranges from in and out quick to you finishing your shopping and going to check out to find NOBODY at the register. So you look around a bit and find nobody else in the store but you.
