🤗 PLEASE do yourself a favor and go visit this WONDERFUL, local small business. I met Mr. Hollmeyer, and his sister, both working very hard, despite the summer heat and humidity. Mr. Hollmeyer had literally just pulled up in his small motorized wagon to bring in more peaches that he had just picked. His sister said that was the third time that day that he had picked peaches and it was only 1:45 pm! His sister was busy helping customers and restocking produce. They have an absolutely INCREDIBLE variety of the best looking (and tasting) produce, I’ve ever had! They have Asian eggplant!!! Plus, regular eggplant, many varieties of tomatoes, including heirlooms, and yellow tomatoes! They have huge, gorgeous zucchini, squash, etc. They also have fresh popcorn, and lots of canned produce, including jams and jellies. They make their own apple cider, which is inside their cooler, along with fresh local eggs. The eggs were delicious and so was their scrumptious apple cider! Their peaches are huge and they are SO beautiful that they don’t even look real! Let them sit on your counter for a few days to ripen and you will have the most delicious, juicy peach you’ve ever eaten! They have a stunningly GORGEOUS, 15-year-old, peach tree in their parking lot. Mr. Hollmeyer said it grew from a peach seed!!!😮 Honestly, this tree is so enormous, so gorgeous, with beautiful huge peaches hanging from it, and not a single stressed leaf or limb! It truly doesn’t look real, just stunningly magical!!! 🍑🤍🤍🤍 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this awesome place!🩵🩵🩵 The homemade apple cider is SOOOOOOO...

Read moreHollmeyer is a gem in a suburb - 10 minutes from my house, there is an honest-to-goodness orchard! I have purchased apples from them for the last 3 seasons to make applesauce and apple butter, I process about 60 pounds of fruit a year. They are very knowledgeable about what varieties to use for a specific purpose, and have good prices. Their apples are delicious, and the peaches are the best around. This is an honest independent family establishment, with the roughness that goes with it. If you want something slick, sanitized and polished, go to the...
