I could not speak more highly of Alex’s work and Alex himself. My wife and I set about purchasing a new high quality dining table for the first time and stumbled across Roots Furniture Studio. I was skeptical but everything checked out and we began working with Alex.

We did not know much about wood going into the process. Instead of taking advantage of us like some companies do, he educated us where we asked for it. He was available to answer our questions. He made us aware of all of our options and let us guide the process based on what we wanted. He was patient and practical. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the color we were going for. He provided updates during the process which was pretty cool.

He delivered the product himself (over an hour away) with care. He installed it in less than half an hour.

I’m writing this post 1 month after delivery. Every time I walk by this table I get happy. It is nearly flawless and it is a work of art. You can tell there’s a ton of thought, care, and skill that went into it. It’s beautiful without sacrificing any functionality. I will be repeat customer when I’m ready for my next piece. I initially found Alex online and after reviewing the site you can immediately tell the craftsmanship of his products, which is why I called him. I will share that the first time I met him I called him for a large project that I believe he had never done before. After meeting him and talking through the project, I was confident he was the best person for the job. My husband found Alex through Facebook and he was such a pleasure to work with! We were adding a great room to our house and adding a very large fireplace. Alex built us custom mantel, hearth and matching shelves to put on both sides of the fireplace. My husband and I had a hard time envisioning the color to match our floors and Alex was so helpful to guiding us in the right direction on what would match.
