Spa At Tubac Golf Resort & Spa — Local services in Green Valley

We were looking for a 24 hour escape from 2020 reality and a friend recommended we come here. SO happy we did. We splurged and booked the Casita Jet Suite. While they state you can't check in until 4PM, we got there around 3:15 and they had our room ready.

The grounds are gorgeous, and you feel away from it all which was exactly what we were looking for. We took a long walk around the property in the evening. It appears they had a few other retail/dining space at one time that has since closed. This place would be amazing for a special event.

Our room was outstanding, including the very private patio off the living room area. We loved the spaciousness of it and the sleep quality was solid.

We went to the pool for a dip. They have 2 pools and a hot tub. What I loved was the seating available. They had these cabana tents, I believe there were either 3 or 4 on each side. It appears they are first come first served so had we been there more than just one evening I probably would have been out here staking my claim for a day by the pool!

Check out was 11AM. The protocols on check in/check out for the pandemic were safe and contactless. While I did see some folks walking around without masks, they were able to maintain social distancing. The restaurant and gift shop both required masks. I would absolutely...

This is a wonderful resort offering very spacious rooms, clean and quaint with great amenities, my room had a window seat, a little porch skylight in the shower as a well travelled person it really was a surprise to see such a well maintained clean, hotel with sprawling grounds within walking to the shops and great sunrises looking into the mountains. 4 night stay Christmas week exceeded expectations. The property is relaxing, steeped in history, excellent golf and bike facilities (and a tennis court), heated pool, lovely restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining, very dog friendly, spacious rooms done in Arizona cattle ranch motif with patios.
