Putnam County Fairgrounds — Local services in Greencastle

My buddy and I hit around 6-7 county fairs in the season. Before the state fair. This was a first time hitting the Putnam county fair I wish we would have known that the midway wasn't set up yet we would have chose another day to come.and didn't see any roasted corn on the cob. And we saw people walking around with Putnam county fair tshirts found out later it was a Pre order thing wish they had some for sale my buddy and I would have bought one other than that had a decent time...

This is my girls favorite place. Lots of fun memories. There is fun for anyone. Lots of great food and plenty of things to see! Cheap entertainment. Make sure you check out their Facebook page for updates and the schedule. This fair has a ton of projects and animals to look at during your visit. Grab some food and walk the midway. You won’t regret giving this location a few hours...

It was alright. It's much smaller than when I grew up in Greencastle. The midway is not in front anymore, and it seemed to have much less in rides. I was disappointed in my Legion Burgers. Didn't taste like I remembered, but hey, that's about 50 years ago in my teenage years. I think it's best maybe to not come back home and revisit because the memories are much better...
