This is a short and beautiful hike to reach the top of Rosencrans Falls. You can find the trail off of Nittany Ridge Road. Be sure to stay on the left side of the creek, otherwise you’ll be trespassing on private property. The trail isn’t marked, but it is very obvious and easy to stay on it. It is totally worth hiking down into the gorge to get a full view of the falls. The gorge is beautiful with the rock formations and two falls meeting from separate creeks. The other waterfall, McElhatten Falls is on private property, but you can still see wonderful views of it from the top and bottom of the gorge.

Beautiful. Peaceful. Hike to the top of the falls, follows a stream. Not a steep trail. To get to the bottom, it's steep.

Beautiful spot! They now have signs posted so you don't trespass on private property, I hope people respect that. The path to the falls is easily seen on the forest floor. I had not been there in years and was happy to see there was no garbage laying about as there used to be. Take a shopping bag with you as I always do and find and carry any litter out, let's keep this...

We would have loved to spend more time and enjoy the beautiful walk, but we neglected to spray ourselves with insect repellent. We only hiked in and out quickly. Use Insect Repellent before starting...
