Best grocery in Weakley County! And I don't even really like Greenfield but I love Tates! I can find items there that I can't find anywhere in the county including Super Walmart but Tates. For example, pop tarts, when I was growing up, we had basic pop tarts. Strawberry, blueberry, and a frosted version of each. Now when you look for pop tarts, you will have a half dozen or more in every flavor, marshmellow and chocolate included with matching candy topping but your basic plain no frosting pop tarts you can only find at Tates Grocery Store in Greenfield Tennessee! The store is attractive, having been recently updated and you are never the CHECKER!!!!...

I grew up in Greenfield so I remember this grocery store at least all the way back to when it was Big John’s. Shined like a new penny when I was small but the cleanliness of the place and quality of groceries has been up and down. The Tate Family has taken this grocery store to new heights. It’s super clean, really well ordered and even has new features. If you are really into meat, visit the in house butcher. I love to shop at Tates the only thing is I hate they don't offer us disable senior citizens a electric wheel chair I don't get to shop there anymore because I caint walk anymore they say they have a wheel chair but I would have to bring two people with me one to push me and a second person to push my cart Tates if you see this please please think about this for the ones of us that love your store I'm sure there is more out there that has the same prayer as I do get us a electric chair so we can enjoy shopping...
