Battle Creek Steakhouse & Baitshop — Local services in Greenland Township

This is one of my favorite places to eat at. Or at least it was... I had dinner there Sunday evening and everything was fine until our waiter came. He was extremely rude right off the bat and had attitude the entire time we were there. I was very uncomfortable and honestly didn't even want to stay there to eat my food. I really hope this waiter doesn't work here for long because this is one of my favorite places to eat. They have amazing food! My boyfriend went up to pay for food that we ate and tipped him. He grabbed the money out of his hand and threw it into the tip jar. I found that very unprofessional and uncalled for since we were very polite the whole time and grateful for his service. I'm not sure what we did to piss him off because he was being nice to everyone else. This was probably the worst experience I've had at the bait shop. When we were walking out he said something quite rude as well. " You guys should learn proper tip etiquette " That was very offensive since we did tip him even after him being rude to us all night. Not very happy with that service. I hope this issue is addressed because I would love to come back and have dinner again...

Took over 20 mins just for the waitress to come being menus and ask about drinks. And it wasn't even busy. After that it took an hour for our food to come out. My wife had the walleye and I had the top sirloin. My steak was cold and raw and the walleye was full of bones. I sent the steak back and it came back still raw and cold. I ordered it med. They never tried to make it right I was surprised that they cared so little...

Read the reviews and for the most part, it's a clean place, the staff are very friendly and nice BUT the Prime Rib that everyone raves about isn't that great! We talked to the owner, (she's a very sweet lady by the way) and she took our critique with great concern. We will come back but not for the Prime Rib.
