Phone receptionist got extremely rude and argumentative with me when I called to schedule a 2nd appointed for a lump on my dogs neck that the vet could not find the 1st time, the previous day I was in the clinic. I expected not to have to pay, that's when she became very nasty. She said it was my responsibility to show the vet the lump on her neck which I did and the vet said there was nothing there. She couldn't find anything and lead me to believe it was gone. I am not a doctor and they have made it my responsibility to know when it is or isn't a lump. After I went home my husband said the lump is right there. We need to go back. How is it my fault the veterinarian mislead me and misdiagnosed my dog?! I have been a client with the Montrose Vet Clinic for years, until today. I called for an appointment for my dog Izzy who was having a seizure. I was declined and was told to go to some clinic in Sioux Falls. So, for future reference if you have a downed animal you may be turned away. They do not have the best interest of the sick animal at the forefront of their clinic! They say they are available 24 hours 7 days a week, total pack of lies. I did take Izzy to another Vet and she is getting the care she needed. I would reconsider establishing relations with this clinic because they will not be available for your sick animals as needed. I was looking for affordable and professional spay and neuter for my kitties. I am from MN but have family that live in Sioux Falls, not far from Montrose Vet Clinic. The quotes I received in MN were not what I could afford, especially fixing two cats at the same time. I emailed Montrose Vet with my request for my kitties, and received a phone call the next day. I was surprised how easy it was to schedule the appointment and the affordable price! I just had the services done today and I can’t be more thankful for their services and care!
