Bryan Park Soccer Complex — Local services in Greensboro

We had an outstanding evening spent with NC Fusion at their MacPherson Stadium at gorgeous Bryant Park Soccer Complex ! We attended the Sat. June 4 match vs. Charlotte Eagles, and we truly could not have had a better time. Starting at the front gate… great young people, so courteous and patient and knowledgeable, they helped us so much ! Our party needed a bit of extra time and accommodation so that our patriarch could take his time, and they were so friendly about it, even though we may have caused a bit of traffic jam ! (sorry about that) Concessions staff (at the food window and at the beer tent) were amazing, the sweetest people who took the time to offer some genuine courtesy and conversation, which was sooo welcome since we were from out of town. Just the best. At halftime of the match, we moved our crew up to the walkway to take advantage of AWESOME setting suns off the back side, and the clear pitch on the front side for photo ops. We got great pics, and we also got a very warm greeting from one younger women and one middle-aged man. Both of them were so cordial and thankful to us for coming from far and wide to attend the match. The truth is, we were the grateful ones ! We can’t omit the facts on the pitch -- NC Fusion owned the match from whistle to whistle, bullying Charlotte Eagles off the ball and turning them over almost at will, while building attractive build-up play which yielded plenty of opportunity. Special note to #14 on the wing and the CB pairing, they stood out. That was a fun contest to watch, and congrats to NC Fusion coaches and players for decidedly outplaying Charlotte. First-class hospitality at this place, we can’t recommend enough attending a match at MacPherson and supporting the NC Fusion, this is what it’s all about right here…. And final note – for soccer nerds like we are, esp. facilities managers / planners, coaches, and grounds crew – go drive around the rest of this complex, it’s a testament to what we can do if we all get on the same page. They are doing it RIGHT, please go explore this campus like we did. Everything is top-notch for a facility of this size. Well done, NC Fusion and MacPherson Stadium and Bryant Park Soccer Complex and greater Greensboro – you are such good people and we had a great night with you !...

Has 21 fields, all in great condition. They will split some of the fields for recreational league practices and line these accordingly.

I like how the complex has two areas. Fields 1-13, as well as McPherson Stadium, are one area with a large lot. NC Fusion office is in this area as well as bathrooms, etc. The other area is fields 14-21. Also has a decent sized lot, bathrooms, etc.

Both areas get super busy, particularly on weekends, as the park hosts rec leagues and travel leagues for both games and practices.

A great soccer option...

Wonderful soccer complex! The traffic in and out can be slow and backed up AF during tournaments, but otherwise not too bad. The fields are well kept and the bathrooms are delightfully clean, however I can not speak for what condition the woman's room is kept. We caught a beautiful sunset on the way out. The only way it could have been better is if the obnoxious broad near us would have kept her awful comments to herself and the referees would have made...
