For the average person this theater may appear pleasing. But Iāve been in town for the holidays and each time I visit, the property looks as if itās going out of business. The game area has so much unoccupied space, tickets are never collected at the booth so that takes away the theater theme, the movie advertising wall boxes lights are out so nothing is eye catching, the ceiling lights are out in the concession area which makes it very dim to see whatās on the ordering menu, which lights are out as well. The beverage coolers lights are out. I didnāt know the cost of changing bulbs was so expensive. The concession cabinetry area doors are broken off. The employees are too young and not fully trained, so itās like their only taking your order because their at work for the moment not because they care. Snacks are just tossed in trays with no appearance for satisfaction. Popcorn is on the floor behind the concession stand. The women bathroom lighting is very dim, the paint on the toilet seats are peeling, the ceiling vents in the restroom is clogged with dust and floor looks like itās been mopped with oil. Auditorium 5 reaps with the smell of mold and the wall lighting for the auditorium has many bulbs out. I experienced the same problem with auditorium 3 last month for the Thanksgiving Holiday. The carpet throughout the building could be vacuum daily. There are holes in the hallway walls. The cushion chairs has a musty odor. The property itself could be AMAZING but itās clear management will need to be changed. Iām sure Iām not the only person whoās seen this but maybe the first to write it in a review. But sometimes it takes a review to get change. The place just doesnāt scream MOVIE THEATER to me. It has a going out of business environment. I really wish headquarters would look into better management. I hope this happens because the place could...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI decided to visit this theater to see The Quiet Place with my goddaughter. Upon arrival, I noticed a ton of cars and teenage kids. I did not think twice about that until I entered my movie. But before entering the movie, we had to wait at least 20 minutes before the purchasing of the tickets due to the staff joking with the teenagers that were running around mad at this place or they seemed to be in the worst mood over. So of course, I brushed it off so I can purchase our tickets. So when we showed our ticket to the guy before entering the movie, I was stopped by we had a bookbag purse. I was like hmm...there is not a sign that states we could not bring a purse. I was upset because another person was not stopped but I was. Once again, I ignored yet another sign that this would be a bad experience. Arrrggh this was the worst experience ever watching a movie. The teenagers would not stop talking, texting, taking pictures etc...I wanted to walk out like another couple did, but I endured this experience because I really wanted to see this movie. Never again! I spoke to the 'fake' security guy and mentioned that no one came and policed our theater and he mentioned that they were toooo busy with Truth or Dare. And I am like, ok whatever. And when I walked in that theater it was way over booked with kids sitting on the floor. So yeah, a fire hazard if I ever saw one. Do not waste your money going to this establishment. You will be highly disappointed and will leave angry like I did. I will drive to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI know that this place gets a lot of hate and a lot of these reviews were here before the place was renovatedā¦. But since thenā¦. Itās been great to have this place for our family movie nights as there isnāt another theater within an hour in any direction. The staff is always very welcoming and friendly, usually teenagers so youāll meet a variety of personalities. Everyone has always been great at the counter. The man who takes your ticket and directs you to your theater is very kind and courteous and we just love the manager. Sheās always been friendly and helpful when we needed anything. The food options are good, but Iāll say, Iād probably expand my menu⦠fries are a good one to add, as well as chicken tenders, flatbreads, chicken wings, and burgers. It would attract business as people could have several options for real ājunk foodā without it being just Pizza, Nachos, or a Hotdog. The rooms are very spacious and the seats are still new at the time of this review. My wife carries a blanket when we go for her and our 2 year old because the theater rooms are usually pretty chilly. It makes for a great escape on Summer days. Movie theaters are dying in smaller towns across the country. Itās wonderful that this small town isnāt letting...
