Manager was rude to my elderly parent's this past weekend and embarrased them because my mom lost her check cashing card. They are in their late 80's and have a vacation home at Moosehead that they have owned for 38 years. They have spent thousands of dollars going to this OVERPRICED store. They prey on tourist and raise the prices so high just before you all arrive Memorial day. It's illegal. The Manger made my mother feel like she was a criminal and refused to just look up her checking cash card that Indian Hill issued them years and years ago. I know its in their system and they are not relying on a card to prove they are approved check owners. Yes they have Massachusetts licenses but they spend every summer in Maine for the last 38 years. Shame on you for making them feel like that. They are old fashioned and I told her to use her ATM card. Dont bother going to the Deli. They refused to cut my girlfriend cheese and roast beef. The reason she gave was the roast beef was cut yesterday and the cheese was cut earlier today. So several times she refused to do her job and said to get the pre sliced. This is absolutely ridiculous. Its a DELI. Meaning fresh cut product when you want how you want. Great store, great selection, moderate prices, helpful employees who mean well, but a classless manager who has no problem embarrassing you in front of staff and customers. She made a happy experience with my son an absolute headshaker, as she countermanded shared decisions of two earlier staff after almost an hour of shopping.
