The 1 star I am accrediting this school is solely because of the amazing teaching skills and knowledge of my professor.

If you are thinking about going to school at Paris Junior College and you live outside of Lamar County, expect to be hit with numerous "out of district" fees. It does not matter that they have school buildings in Greenville and Sulpher Springs and that you live in the same counties as those schools and are wanting to attend those schools, you will still have to pay an out of district fee. I have never gotten a straight answer as to why these fees exists other than "that's just how our billing works" or "the campus you are attending is not in Lamar County". Their billing system is shady, confusing, and aggravating. Make sure to pay attention to what you're paying for.

The billing department is ran by people who will tell you how much you owe, and than come back and say you owe more than what they told you last. Be prepared to make numerous phone calls and send a high amount of emails trying to figure out why you owe more than what...

This is the third time I have taken my daughter to school and found the doors to the Workforce Building locked, leaving students without access to the building. This morning, she waited outside for approximately ten minutes before additional students arrived and were able to contact friends inside to open the door.

I spoke with the representative who answers the school’s direct phone line, and she explained that the locks are controlled by a third-party company. While I understand that, it would be reasonable for staff to verify that all exterior doors are unlocked before the first class begins to ensure students can enter safely and on time.

Had those students not arrived, my daughter would have continued waiting outside unnecessarily. I encourage the college to review this process and implement a more reliable system for building access in...

If you plan on doing nursing, do not go through PJC. The advisors from each campus do not communicate with each other on changes and I was told misinformation from the start which now is resulting in a huge headache with one of my classes I already took not being transferable, but also I am 6 months behind trying to get into the nursing program for my BSN that I originally wanted to be in. Only am giving a 3 stars because of the professors. They are amazing and communicate very well to...
