This place is a small, locally owned, you pick strawberry farm. The strawberries are big, fresh, and sweet. On my three trips to the farm so far this year, I picked about 20 lbs of strawberries to share with my family and friends. The guys that own the farm are friendly and nice.
The strawberries are under a covered greenhouse and are off the ground in two different height rows. The plants are grown in bags filled with coconut fiber/coir and are watered with sprinkler system. Read moreNice place to pick your own strawberries. They provide buckets and scissors or you can bring your own. You get to walk around 4 big greenhouses and pick as many as you can fit in your bucket. They also have a small pond with a bridge you walk across.
Update 3/2024 - Unfortunately this place has gotten too popular for its own good. People get too greedy and pick all the good ones, even the green ones, in less than 30 minutes. We won’t come here anymore unless it’s managed better. The strawberries are...
Read moreThey’re nice people but I don’t think they care much about the visitors. They don’t limit how much one can pick. They have a lot of car waiting to get in, and they are all picked in 15 minutes. They say they’re worried that not all will get picked. They know they have enough visitors. They’re thinking, why not let it be over in 15 min? That’s easy money for them. This way, you see people who pick 20 lbs, when a bunch of people who drove 1 hour+ get NOTHING when they arrive at 1015am....
