Charlie caught our attention with his youtube videos, where he showcased different neighborhoods in Fairfield County and gave useful updates on the market trends and opportunities. He was very informative and engaging, and we could tell he had a lot of experience and passion for his job.

When we met Charlie, he was very responsive and attentive to our needs and preferences. He asked us what we didn't like about the previous agents we've worked with and made sure to avoid those mistakes.

He showed us several properties that matched my criteria and budget, and gave us honest feedback on the pros and cons of each one. His background as a remodeling contractor came in handy as he was able to give us great advice on how to vision the place and make it our own. He pointed out potential issues and opportunities that we would have missed otherwise. He was very patient and never pressured us to make a decision one way or another.

My wife and I recently relocated to Connecticut and we worked with Charlie and his team to purchase our home in Westport. Our experience was tremendously positive. Charlie is an incredibly thoughtful, caring and sophisticated real estate advisor and he is highly knowledgeable of the towns along Connecticut’s coast (including Greenwich, Darien, Westport, etc.). Charlie’s website offers a treasure trove of information regarding each town’s neighborhoods, beaches, local amenities and property listings.

Notably, Charlie produces countless high quality, town-specific and comparative videos as part of his YouTube channel. His videos are invaluable resources and they were instrumental in helping my wife and I develop an informed view of the local market before we even began our search. I cannot recommend them highly enough!!

After a welcoming initial consultation with Charlie in the spring of 2022, my wife and I decided to focus on Westport, which we understood to be a highly competitive market. Had a very bad experience with Charlie Vinci. Charlie, despite knowing the agent’s access key wasn’t working, refused entry to the client despite the listing agent telling him to allow access. Let me be clear: the accompanying agent WAS there at the showing, communicated to Charlie her access key wasn’t working, called the listing agent to relay to Charlie the issue and the listing agent requested Charlie to leave the property unlocked. Charlie still refused to open the property. This went beyond any “security” concerns by Charlie. This was a flat out refusal despite the listing agent directing him and the buyer’s agent being on the property.

So based on Charlie’s inaccurate depiction of events claiming the buyer’s agent wasn’t there, it now appears to me that in addition to Charlie having an issue with speaking to people in a disrespectful manner, he also seems to either have an issue with being honest since his claim no buyer’s agent was there is a lie OR have an issue listening to people to understand the situation.

Consequently as a result of Charlie’s actions, a 4 year old and 2 year old were crying hysterical since they were refused entry to see the property. Charlie was extremely rude throughout the entire process and did not seem to care whatsoever.
