I've been in this store a total of 3 times. The first time I was met by older lady I believe to be the manager. Great helpful attitude, fast service in and out in minutes. Everyone was greeted like they were welcome and was promptly helped.
Second time I encountered Erika, an associate. The store had 4 customers in it. I along with the customers that came after me were never once greeted or told she would be with us as soon as possible or even acknowledged in any way for that matter. Completely ignored as if we were not even there! Several customers came and left as they were ignored completely. I needed to make a payment and after waiting over 30 minutes was told, "Our computer is not set up to take a payment by check". You'll have to do that by phone. Wow! No sorry it took so long, no sense of urgency and a snide attitude to boot for a paying customer that in essence stood in line for over a half an hour just to be told she could not help me! At any point, a good associate would have asked what each customer was in there for helped those with quick transactions and shortened the line or at least made an effort to greet and pretend to be happy to assist them at some point even if they were busy. I never got a thanks for your business or sorry I can't help. Nada, Zip. Just a blank I could care less stare. Unbelievable!
Third time I came in Today (9-6) it was the same Erika. Slow as Christmas, oblivious that there were other people in the store as no greeting or acknowledegment ever came our way. Customer's left with no parting greeting or even I'll be with you shortly. Nothing as she could not have cared less! After waiting 20 minutes this time she finally did ask what I needed as if she would have to lower her self to help anyone at all kind of attitude. She went to the other computer and proceeded to tell me it would be 2 different transactions on 2 different computers as I needed to make a payment part cash part credit card. This took another 15 minutes why she went back and forth between me and the previous customer. Same lackadaisical care less attitude. No apologies for my wait or the lack of antiquated payment methods inconvienent for customers. Just a really bad non customer service attitude. They kind that makes a customer want to take their business to a company WITH "associates" that DO care and will move about with some sense of urgency and not pissed off because they have to make an effort to help you! I will NEVER go back in this store again after this second display of poor service. Really AT&T is this the...
Read moreAs far as AT&T Corporate goes...well, let's just say I'm not a fan. To be determined eligible for service via the website only to get a random email a couple of days later saying the order was cancelled (for no reason, not a single reason specified), I was pretty disappointed. They even sent a letter stating that my credit score was --- (I'm not leaving that out for security, that's literally what the letter said it had a spot for my score with absolutely nothing there) but the letter was worded in a way that wasn't saying I was denied due to credit worthiness but anyways I'm losing the point of my review here because the store experience was much, much better. A lady who shared a common interest of my old home-state, NM, was very kind and professional and did her best to help me figure out what was happening. We had to call the fraud department and I was asked a series of questions, all of which pertained to me and I'm 100% sure I gave correct answers for, and then we were told my application was denied and that they would not be given me a reason for it (the call center, not the store rep) and so I felt pretty chastised and embarrassed, to say the least. I wasn't trying to get approved for financing neither it was BYOD. But I'm leaving 5-stars because I want anyone who might be considering ATT to elect to go to their local store in person over ordering online. Perhaps having attempted to order online and being flagged for whatever reason was what ultimately determined me as ineligible, I dunno. I just know that as far as Greenwood goes, I am not lovin it, but for a brief while I finally smiled, probably for the first time since moving here, because of how kind, warm and professional both the ladies were at this local ATT Store. Thank you both for making such a positive difference when to be honest I really...
Read moreIf I were you, I would not go through the struggle of going to this store, but go to the one in Fort Smith.
The girls that helped us were nice, but did not seem to know what they were doing. About an hour and a half before the store closed on a Friday night I came in to upgrade my phone. After an hour and a half of talking to the lady, I wasn't anywhere close to getting the phone, and she told me to come back the next day. It was fine but a little frustrating.
The next morning my husband and I came in and the new lady that was helping us was really nice and seemed to know what she was talking about. We had a phone to trade in, so with the trade in she said it would be an added $14 something to our account each month. We had been there for 2 hours, bought the phone, and were transferring my phone over to the new phone, when she told us that she was wrong, and it was actually going to be $36 something each month. She said that the trade in deal ended yesterday. We obviously started to get a little frustrated, so then she said she was wrong, and it actually ended a week ago. When my husband kindly asked to speak to the manager, she didn't let him. In the end she said she was wrong again, and the total ended up being $18 a month.
This store is an AT&T resale store, not an actual AT&T store. Just go to the one...
