Oakbrook Memorial Park — Local services in Greenwood

This was my Mom’s first Mother’s Day and it’s been almost 6 months that she has been passed still no headstone (that had been paid for long before her or my father passed away) went to go visit my mother and there were so many weeds and tree limbs everywhere up where she was buried it was pathetic. You can tell where she was buried wasn’t up front and center for everyone to see cause when I left I rode around to see the rest of the cemetery and the other areas didn’t look like the area she was laid to rest in. Oakbrook you need to do a little better!!

Oakbrook Memorial Park Inc still hasn’t gotten my parents headstone yet. Dad passed away in December Mom passed away in January they tried to tell us the headstone wasn’t paid for at the time we buried mom but we found the receipt and it was paid in full since 1995ish! I spoke with Denise shortly after the above post and was told that we headstone should be in by June and sandblasting and all that should be done and we should have their headstone up by July! Guess what went today NO headstone the flowers that had been put on the grave was torn up and thrown everywhere second I’ve been there and it’s been like that!! Guess the lawn care guys don’t care to clean up the mess! I picked up the flowers to throw away and got attacked by red ants! My sister called and spoke with “Denise” and basically got no where!!! This is absurd!!! It’s bad enough going to cemetery to have to see your parents but going to see the grave looking like it does with no headstone 8...
