Would give it 0 stars if possible. We bought queso fresco from this place and it was expired. It tasted and smelled bad. When we went back to the store to try to get a refund or exchange it, the old lady (I’m assuming is the owner) said it tasted fine and refused to give us a refund or exchange it. Don’t recommend shopping here. They will not refund you your money back for any reason or exchange...

I use to buy sweet bread from here but I noticed a bread crumb was moving on the back wall of the pantry. It was no bread crumb, it was a roach covered in flower. I stopped eating any food from there. But I will say they have a great selection of spices and teas. My Mexican mother had remedies to cure sickness with said spices so its definitely good being able to find those spices...

I have not gotten to come in a couple of years and it looks like they've done some remodeling. Lots and lots of yummy good things to try. I highly recommend especially for birthdays holidays and more. Many of the employees are bilingual so if you are English-speaking don't let it deter you. They also take EBT. So go and find this little hidden jewel just a stone's throw...
