I absolutely wish I could leave 0 stars. This was possibly the worst 18 weeks of my life (yes, EIGHTEEN) dealing with Countertop Trends. For a counter that was supposed to take 4-6 weeks max, their ONLY installer, Brian, is constantly busy (how?? How does this place keep getting business??) and after waiting 14 weeks for countertop delivery, we waited another 4 for install.
The day of our original install, we had not been told to disconnect the sinks. The installer refused to take accountability for the lack of communication and scheduled us out for weeks later. When he finally returned, he claimed the company cut the counters incorrectly. I don’t actually know if this was his fault in measuring or theirs in cutting but our kitchen sink is the same size as the hole, so instead of the lip going correctly over the hole, the whole thing is precariously at risk of falling in. Best part is it’s a standard size kitchen sink. So now we have to get a custom size sink or wait another 18 weeks to replace the countertops!
To top it all off, Brian left my house a complete mess. Debris and garbage everywhere, loose screws and nails, and so instead of in bed recovering from my emergency medical procedure earlier this week, I’m hauling my vacuum all over my house to clean up after a grown adult man we paid to do a job.
As renters, we’re now stuck going back and forth with our landlord to get this figured out and may have to go who knows how long without a working kitchen sink and majorly gapping bathroom sinks because someone at this company either can’t measure or can’t cut.
If you can’t tell, I would recommend you take your money literally anywhere else than Countertop Trends, unless you love being locked in for nearly half a year with people who can’t communicate and can’t correctly complete a job. And clearly, I’m not the only person of that opinion based on these reviews. Great work, Countertop...
Read moreCountertop Trends is who Lowes in Springfield, MO contracted to do our countertops. We are very dissatisfied customers and cannot believe that this countertop passed their Quality department (CT claims that their "quality standards are high" according to their Facebook "About" section- see screenshot). I cannot imagine any QA supervisor seeing this final product and saying "Yes, looks great! I'd be proud to have this in my home!" No. If this were going into their own home or the home of someone they cared about, they would make sure it was done right. We tried to get them to fix it, but because there is no damage to the countertop, CT refuses to offer any solution to fix their awful workmanship and make this right.
Bottom line, if you'd like to spend a decent amount of money for what you think will be nice countertops, but don't mind your "final product" looking like this, Countertop Trends is the company for you! If you want a countertop that looks good in the end, keep searching. You will not get that with Countertop Trends. They do not care about the customer, nor do they want to right their wrong. They got paid and to them, that is all that matters.
Side note: the vertical piece in the picture is just what the installer left to keep the countertop in place while the liquid nails dried. Our issue is with the triangle "add on" that they didn't even attempt to...
Read morePretty sure when CTT’s pants caught on fire from lying our countertops must have burned too. I ordered countertops in late July and tomorrow is October 1st. Guess what? I still do not have the countertops which I paid for ( in -full) including delivery and installation. Between my husband and I, we have taken off work twice to accept the CONFIRMED deliveries. Guess what? No one showed up either time. The first time they forgot to put the countertops on the truck for delivery (they didn’t even bother to call, we had to call them). The second time, we’ll we don’t know. No one bothered to contact us to let us know what happened. The installer is supposed to install tomorrow morning. What is he going to install? CTT has the countertops. Unbelievable, unreliable, and untrustworthy. Update: No one returned my calls. I called this morning and an employee said they were told not to call me because I was “upset.” After speaking with the employee she stated that the countertops were not completed on Friday. This is the same Friday that was confirmed that the delivery would take place. I have since called and asked Home Depot for a...
