Worst experience of my life yesterday my friend and I went there to book a party for my son 10th birthday the first person I talk to was a young lady very nice very pleasant she started to take my information down on her phone ask me all the questions I gave her my email address and was ready to pay then I found out that they were booked on my son's birthday but she suggested another day I said okay why not so I asked for the 15th she walked off then a young man came out I explain to him what was going on and he said well we usually do private parties on the weekends I said fine he said but I could take your name and your number down and call you tomorrow he was going to talk to the owner because he said that the owner has shut down the skate Inn for another person for a private party before on a weekday so I said okay and left then I get home and I get an email that said I paid for a party on the 18th so I quickly called them I spoke with the owner and I'm trying to explain to the owner what is happening and he's pretty much being rude to me basically he told me do I want him to handle the situation or not I express to him money was taken off my card and I didn't even finish giving them my information but before all that I did ask the owner if he can make an exception because the young man said that he done it before he stated that he did do it but that he could not make an exception for me but that he would call me back and let me know why they charged me and I never finish booking the date but I didn't get a call back so I called my my car and I had to cancel the transaction I would never return to that place again I give this place...

Awesome place. Kids need a safe place to hang out and have fun allowing them to build good social skills and have good clean kid fun. Skating is also healthy and it's an activity that gets them moving and when the play game competitive , teaching sportsmanship and self discipline. I enjoyed it as a child, raised 3 grown sons taking them and now my last who is 11 along with a grand daughter and neice. They are kid safe and kid oriented. Check out their after school program Carmen rocks and truly has a heart for these children. She gives 200%+ to them and you can tell not only does she love them they love her. Yes I give Griffin Skate Inn 5 Stars x 20 they have alway been a service to our community. Oh by the way great place to have a birthday party. They have security and are awesome. I do not know the owners I have only watched Carmen a few times with her children's after school program and yes I was very impressed. Whenever we ate there the food was always very good. I loved this place. I took a 3 year old, two five year old's, and a 7 year old. It happened to be Wednesday so the price was 2 bucks a person (3 year and younger is free) to skate and it included skate rental. Friday is also $2. I was very pleased with the environment. No harsh or overly loud music and they even played my request for Audio Adrenalin (I'm an 80's guy). I noticed some Christian music mixed in. I wanted to mention Tim and Amy. So helpful. Tim got on the floor and helped the children lace shoes. If you could imagine the excitement the kids were in. I was so thankful to have help. Amy was the one who searched out and found my Audio Adrenalin track to play. It was so nice to have such polite and friendly treatment. I don't know how they are set up but you get the feel this is a family run business with a priority on providing a family environment. Wanted to mention to parents. This is the first time I took the youngsters skating. The 5 and 7 year old's got it down after about 20 minutes. Forget it for training a 3 year old to skate. They will adjust the skates so they will not roll as easy (kind of training wheels for skates). This helped the 3 year old at least be able to navigate from place to place.
