I want to start by saying I have been purchasing and using Riner's appliances for 20 years. So fast forward to July 7 2025, I called and requested a repair on my refrigerator. So, the tech came out pretty quickly and accessed the repair. He had to order apart and would return. So 1 week and then 2 weeks and 3 weeks passed, and I haven't heard anything. So I called. and magically the part had just arrived.. so we set up for him to come back. He comes back and the part he order was the wrong part. So now he has to order the correct part number, so he leaves and says he will order and be back... so now 1 week passes and another week passes and going into the third week.. I call again... and they are not sure if the part is in, so they will call me back tomorrow.. they did indeed call me back and magically the part was there again.;. so here he comes again... now we are pretty 2 months out... he comes with the new part and the part he thought was broken isn't what is broken... so he leaves and says he will pick up the right part and come back next day... Which he did. now I say all this to say I'm not mad because he ordered the wrong part, and then the whole wrong piece again... I'm mad because never once did anyone communicate anything with me. not once. and when I called with my frustration, I was met with mostly excuses.(also let me add that my mother (who is 77) lives with me, so she called in today, and Chris answered the phone.. he was disrespectful and laughing at her, because she felt like they should make it right).. its sad after 20 years and following them from location to location city to city.. this ends my relationship with Riner's, because customer service is everything.. you can buy appliances at Home Depot or Lowes and get service on...
   Read moreI have a double oven which I purchased over a year ago and it has never worked correctly. I bought $25,000 of Kitchen Aid appliances at the same time from Riner's . They have been working on this double oven for over a year. I finally requested replacement and they told me they had to follow the factory's instructions and could not replace the oven. Not only have they been unable to repair the oven, but they act as though I am making a ridiculous request to have the oven replaced. I have never experienced anything like this. I have remodeled 2 kitchens within the last 10 years, all with Kitchen-Aid. I have never been treated like this. Lowe's will at least replace an item if it doesn't work properly. I called a week ago and set up an appointment for Tuesday Nov 17th from 12 to 4:30, no one ever showed, called or texted or even emailed to say they were running behind or give me any idea of when they might show. I called at 4 to see if I could get an update and the girl said oh he is running behind, but Pete will show. Well Pete never did and no phone call until this morning saying hey are you at home so I can come look at your stove? Nope I was there all afternoon yesterday waiting during our appointment time. Courtesy is all I asked and a phone call or update would have been sufficient. A little customer service, but I guess that is just too much to ask...
